28 years later, im am still so grateful for my best friend. I often tell Layla stories about jo chieng] and i. I wish that she'll be lucky like me, to have a best friend from a very young age. Someone whom she can share her joy and sorrows with.

First came us (jo chieng] and i), then came them. Through the years, theres been many variation of this 'picture', many had came and gone. And now, it's just us - Framily. The 5 that's here to stay.

Life works in amazing ways. The right people will always find their way to each other. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it's a more dramatic journey, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's hard. But at the end, it's often sweet and worthwhile.

I love all of u! Thank u for accepting me and loving me in all your different ways! I am so blessed!

Happy Birthday Bestie!

We turn 37 and glorious this year. The number is inconsequential, the glorious part is key. I love you and i love where we are in our lives. I love where YOU are in your life. Being your best friend for the last 28 years, i dare say, I've nv seen you in a better state, in a better place, both physically and emotionally. I'm so proud of you and i am so very happy for you. But you already know this bcos i tell you everyday!

You know, they say 'Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you know they're always there.' This definitely does not apply to us! 28 years later, we r still talking on the phone almost everyday, with or without Layla's existence. Hahaha! Thank you for embracing my fabulous Chatterbox quality, Bestie. I know sometimes it's overbearing. But you let me do it anyway. Haha!

While looking for photos to post, i found the ones that were taken at my wedding. A best friend is one that smiles the widest on my wedding day, and cries the most upon hearing my speech. There's no one who knows me better, who knows my life's journey clearer than you. I am so blessed to have you, Bestie!

What clubbing looks like in 2021 at age 37. Starts at 5pm, ends at 11pm. 6 hours of intense drinking and laughing accompanied by 2 days of hangover. Lol

Thank you @drgeraldinelee for planning such an epic birthday surprise party for @jochieng. It felt like time stood still that night. We danced to Phuture music in the Party Bus. We partied and drank like we were still in our 20s at Zouk! I haven't had such a fun night out in such a longgggg time! It was just like the good old days!

Best, i know you're gonna hate me for posting the last pic. But u know, that really sums up our friendship when we are in clubs; me taking care of u and us looking silly and laughing like crazy! I love that picture! Haha!

It's gonna be one of those night we will keep revisiting even when we are old! How precious.
