Happy 2021 everyone! My very first vlog in 2021 to wish everyone a happy new year ❤️ (BEFORE MCO 2.0)
DAY 1

?Sam Poh Tong temple
One of the biggest cave temples in Malaysia with a splendid Japanese-inspired garden view. Highly recommend to visit this place for a peace of mind and the peaceful ambience and breathtaking scenery.

DAY 2

?Tempurung cave
*Admission fee with MyKad: RM12 per person
One of the longest limestone caves in Malaysia. The interior of the cave is so cool and beautiful, in awe with the creation of Mother Nature.

?STG Tea House Café
We searched for this place in Google and it totally exceeded our expectation! The environment is really cozy and pretty. They also have a wide selection of food from Western food to local specialities. Highly recommend!

?Sourvenirs : Lam Fong biscuit, Sin Eng Ho
Before heading home, we bought some famous Ipoh biscuits from Lam Fong like “sak kei ma”, “yim guk kai” (salt baked chicken); and the kaya puffs from Sin Eng Ho. Sooo yummy ??

There were very few people at most of the places that we went, so be rest assured that it’s safe. We also wore face mask, kept a safe distance from strangers and sanitised all the time. Even had McDonald’s in the car to stay away from the crowd haha.

All in all, it was a really memorable trip. Penang and a few other states are currently under MCO, so we’re now staying at home ??? No matter where you’re living in Malaysia, remember to always follow SOP and stay safe!

The Nasi Kandar Show kembali lagi untuk minggu ini bersama hos terbaru kami, Anwar Hadi. Dalam rancangan ini, Anwar akan mencuba pelbagai Nasi Kandar di Malaysia serta menilai hidangan tersebut berdasarkan 3 kategori iaitu; Nasi bersama kari campuq, lauk-pauk dan harga.

Lokasi kami seterusnya tidak lain tidak bukan, Nasi Kandar Ayam Merah, tau lebih dikenali sebagai Nasi Ganja. Kami tiba seawal 10 pagi namun sudah ada orang yang beratur untuk membungkus makanan. Kedai itu menjadi tempat kegemaran rakyat setempat dan juga pelancong untuk menikmati juadah terkenal mereka "Nasi Ganja"

Berdasarkan pengamatan awal, tiada yang istimewa mengenai rupa hidangan tersebut. Hanya harga dan suasana kedai yang menjadi buah mulut kami pagi itu. Namun setelah merasai hidangan tersebut, kami sedar bukan kerana rasa kedai itu dipenuhi orang. Namun sejarah kedai tersebut, persekitaran dan juga pilihan makanan disitu menyebabkan kedai itu dikunjungi orang dari pelusuk dunia.

Kami makan Nasi Kandar Ayam Merah yang berharga RM5.80 antara jurang harga paling murah berbanding Nasi Kandar yang lain. Di sajikan dengan Nasi Putih, kuah Kari, Ayam Merah, telur Masin dan Timun. Bak kata Anuar, portion hidangan paling munasabah sekali setakat ini.
