《思源》專輯第七首：一

多年前唯一一次跟謝安琪錄音室的合作，她的聰明與感性永遠恰到好處，她的版本是心痛的證據，多年之後我自己重新演繹，在曲詞裡發現了不同的層次。這首創作的誕生，是因為我讀到了達賴喇嘛二世的詩：一見如故，再見陌路。弦樂、鋼琴、一和二的文字遊戲，給我四分鐘，不枉過去的每一次心動。

我的母親已八十歲，
疫情期間，
母親常在電話跟我聊一些過去的事情，
母親的記憶力非常好，
從她十歲開始到現在，
她幾乎能記得所有的事情。

當然，
她記的幾乎都是些令人心碎的事。

就像她的妹妹＿
我的小阿姨，
跟她失聯了四十三年的事，
一直讓母親忘不了。

小阿姨屬猴，
64歲、
1956年出生。
大約1977年離開緬甸，
去到泰國投靠大舅，
又輾轉在1978年左右去了加拿大。
之後，
就失去了聯絡。

自從有網路以來，
我就幫忙母親在各種尋人版上刊登過尋人啟事，
但都沒有下文。
可能是刊登的資訊不齊全。

四十三年前，
小阿姨從緬甸到泰國又到加拿大，
可能證件、姓名等都跟原本的不一樣了。

近期，
與我母親通話，
母親又提到失聯的小阿姨。
她叮嚀我們是否能幫忙她再找找看。

母親今年八十歲，
她很想知道她的小妹，
是否還活在這世界上？

附上母親說的話，
她讓我公佈在網路上。

希望有緣，
我的小阿姨能看到。

胡湘荷，妳在哪裡？

阿湘，
我是妳的二姐胡明珠。
我們分別有好長一段時間了。

妳離開緬甸時，
我二兒子才剛出生，
都還不滿一個月，
妳來看他時，
還說：
「他的臉白白的，
是不是我給他擦粉？」
現在，
我二兒子四十三歲，
我呢，
已經快滿八十二歲，
八十多歲，
是老人了。

人家說，
人愈老記性愈差，
我是相反，
我的記性反倒是愈老愈好。
但是，我能記住的，
都是些傷心的事情。

也許，
我們這代人，
也沒有什麼快樂的事情可以記住。
就像妳的離開，
我們從此失去聯絡，
想起妳，
就讓我難過。

妳還活著嗎？
我想妳會活得好好的。
妳有幾個小娃了？
過得怎麼樣呢？

四十三年前，
妳離開腊戌時，
妳還在腊戌漢人學校唸書。

有天放學，
我去攔住妳，
跟妳說：
「妳以後每天下課後就來我家吃飯，
別去大姐家吃了…」
妳說：「好」。
妳也就跟著我到我家吃飯了。

我還記得，
妳才剛坐下，
我不知怎麼搞的，
就說了那些話。

我說：
「大姐讓妳以後來我這裡吃飯，
別去她家吃了，
讓妳三姐去她家吃，
妳三姐不挑嘴，
妳比較挑嘴…」。

這些話，
是大姐跟我說的，
我當時太懵，
太老實，
我也不曉得，
為什麼要說這些大姐講的話？
為什麼要講給妳聽？

我完全，
沒有擔待不了妳的意思呀。
不管多窮，
姐妹間互相照顧都是應該的，
我轉述大姐說妳的那些話，
是沒有任何理由的，
就是我以為是姐妹之間的聊天，
講出來而已。

我那時候過得很困難，
養著六個小娃，
病死了兩個。
但是，
照顧自己的妹妹是天經地義的。

那天，
我邊說就邊到廚房去炒菜，
難得妳來這裡吃飯，
總要多一樣什麼菜才行。

我炒完菜端著出來，
妳就不見了。

當時，
房東許老嬤嬤還在場，
她說，
「我轉進廚房，
妳就站起來走了…」

我那時才發覺；
我講錯話了。

妳這麼敏感的人呀！

我一路追著妳，
追到大水塘路上＿
到妳跟妳三姐住的地方，
妳正在哭。
妳正在哭著跟妳三姐吵架，
妳跟妳三姐說：
「二哥寄來的錢分來…」
妳三姐不敢應妳，
在旁沉默著。
這筆妳要的錢，
確實是妳二哥寄來給妳們兩姐妹的生活費。

那時，
媽媽剛去世不久，
大哥人去了泰國；
在泰國北部滿堂安了家，
家裡所有的兄弟陸續去了泰國。
而爸爸因為沒身份證在貴概被移民局抓住，
送到仰光坐滿九年牢，
緬甸政府正打算著把他送到台灣去的時候…

那天，
我看著妳哭，
我就明白了妳的心情。

妳三姐在準備跟她愛人私奔，
在腊戌妳也只有大姐、我和妳三姐了。

我和大姐早結婚，
各自已有有家庭。
如今妳三姐又要嫁人，
大哥他們又遠在泰國，
母親去世，
父親坐牢。
妳接下來就要孤苦零丁的一個人生存了。

一個十八歲的女孩。
我知道妳的害怕和難過。

那天，
看著妳哭，
我很後悔把大姐說的話講出來。

妳應該了解我的。
我一直都盡力照顧我的家人，
當時從雲南背著妳逃難到緬甸邊境，
背了一天一夜。
我都是自願的。

妳記得嗎？
妳到腊戌讀書時，
很想要一條件仔褲，
那時許多人都買不起，
我還是費盡力氣買給妳。
妳知道我是心疼妳的。

妳離開腊戌的那天，
妳說妳要去泰國了。
臨走時，
我拿了300塊錢給妳，
妳知道嗎？
那時候我拿出300塊錢緬幣是到處借來的錢呀。

阿湘，
我知道妳一直都在受苦，
去到泰國，
大嫂可能待不得妳，
妳二哥、三哥他們當時也沒能力照顧妳，
妳在泰國又沒有合法的身份；
哪可能有其它去處。

最後妳選擇結婚，
我想也只是為了解脫這些難過的生活罷了。

之後，
就聽說妳嫁了人，
跟著丈夫家去了加拿大。

之後，
我就再也就打聽不到妳的下落了。

我們最後的連繫，
停留在泰國北部滿堂，
或是停留在泰緬邊境美賽，
我都有些記不得了。

那時，
聽說妳從大哥家跑出來了？
又聽說妳去暫住在一對老年夫妻的家裡？
這些，
都是後來傳到腊戌的消息了。

妳去加拿大前，
還寄來給我和大姐和妳三姐每個人一件衣裳布、
一條籠基。
三份禮物裡夾著三張白紙，
寫著：「大姐的、二姐的、三姐的…」。
我還記得，
那是託「義號佛堂」楊前人帶來的禮物。

那條籠基到現在我還留著＿
孔雀花紋的。

阿湘，
我這個作二姐的也羞愧妳了。
當時，
聽到這些關於妳的困難的消息，
只能每天想念著，
想到傷心，
我沒有任何能力。

那時，
我是，
連從緬甸腊戌到泰國邊境的車票都買不起呀。
當時我養著這麼多小娃，
吃一口飯都難。

阿湘，
現在講這些都只是回憶了，
都是我們老人家的回憶，
都不重要了。

那為什麼還要講這些呢？
就是，
為了，
想讓妳看到，
看到這些我說的話，
證實，
我是妳的二姐而已。
想讓妳知道，
我一直在找妳。

我活到八十歲，
夠了，
人活這麼老沒什麼意思，
都盡是傷心的事情。

我不知哪天會死去。
但如果可能的話，
在死去之前，
能讓我知道一下妳的消息。

我想知道，
妳在哪裡？
我想知道，
妳還活著嗎？

阿湘，
爸爸十幾年前已經去世，
大哥六年前去世，
連大姐，
前年也不在世上了。

妳二哥；
他住在泰國山邊荒地裡，
幫人家看田地，
過得不是很好，
但也不用擔心，
我在泰國的二兒子和大姑娘時常會去照顧他。

妳三哥，
講到也是讓我難過呀。

他大前年腦出血，
去醫院醫好了，
但醫好後，
很奇怪，
突然忘記了漢人話，
只會講泰國話。
後來不久，
他就偷偷上吊自殺了。

你說，
我們兄弟姐妹這是什麼樣的命運呢？

阿湘，
我們家沒剩下什麼人了，
妳三姐、妳四哥還在泰國。
還有我，
我還活著。
我還在緬甸，在腊戌。

除了妳，
我們一家人也就剩下這三個人了。

阿湘，
我們已經分別已四十三年，
妳也有六十多歲了吧？
我很想知道，
妳在哪裡？
妳還活著嗎？

妳看到這信，
就回我一下吧。

Where are you, Hu Shine-Ho?

Ah-Shine,
This is your 2nd sister, Hu Ming-Ju. It has been a long time since we last saw each other. When you left Burma, my 2nd son was not even one-month-old. You asked why he was so fair-skinned? Had I put powder on his face? Now, he is 43 and I am almost 82.

Eighty something...I am indeed an old woman! People say that you lose your memory as you age. I am quite the opposite. The older I get, the better I remember! But, what I remember is nothing but sadness. Perhaps, our generation just doesn't have much happiness. Like you leaving home, we losing contact forever…. The thought of you puts me in such despair. Are you still alive? I imagine you living a good life?!! How many children? How are you?

Forty-three years ago, you were still a student at Chinese High School in Lashio. One day after school, I went to intercept you, "From now on, come to my home after school. Don't go to 1st sister's for dinner anymore." You said, "OK" and followed me home.

I still remember clearly that you had just sat down and I said, "The first sister asks that you come to me for dinner. She will take 3rd sister who's easy-going, not like you, a picky eater." I don't know what possessed me that day? Why I had to tell you what 1st sister had to say? Was I too naive? Too honest? Too stupid? I had absolutely no intension not to take care of you - we are sisters!!!! We have to care for each other, no matter how poor we are!!! The first sister's words just came out as a casual chat between sisters. Nothing more!

Life was tough for me at the time. Diseases took away two of my six children. But that didn't mean I would ignore my God-given responsibility as your elder sister. Without realizing the impact of my "casual chat", I went into the kitchen wondering what additional dish I could come up with for your first dinner with us. When I came out with the dishes, you were already gone! According to our landlady, Granny Hsu, you just got up and left as soon as I was out of sight. Only then did I realize my stupid mistake and how sensitive you were! Immediately, I ran after you, all the way to Big Pond Road where you and 3rd sister stayed. You were crying, asking 3rd sister for the money that 2nd brother sent. 3rd sister just kept quiet.

Indeed! The money that you demanded from 3rd sister was to cover living expenses for both of you. At that time, Mother had already passed away. The first brother went to Thailand, had already settled his own family in Pong Ngam. All the brothers followed suit. Father got caught in Kutkai by the immigration for not having an I.D. and had been in prison in Rangoon for 9 years. The Burmese government was just about to send him to Taiwan…. That day, while watching you cry, I understood how you felt. The third sister was getting ready to run away with her lover and both 1st sister and I were married young with our own families to deal with. As an 18-year-old with no mother, a father in prison, you must have felt all alone, sad and very scared.

I was filled with regrets watching you that day. But, please understand that I have always tried my best to take care of my family. When we escaped from Yunnan to Burma as refugees, I carried you on my back all day and all night without any complaints. When you went to Lashio for school, you wanted a pair of jeans so badly, remember? It was such a luxury that most people could not afford. Yet, I gathered all my might to get you a pair. You know I always have a soft spot for you, don't you? The day you were leaving Lashio for Thailand, do you know how many places I had to try to gather 300 Burmese kyats for you???

Ah-Shine, I know it was a huge struggle for you in Thailand. It's impossible that 1st sister-in-law would put you up. Second and 3rd brothers were in no position to help you….. I suppose you were pushed into marriage, just to end this desperate situation. Last I heard, you moved to Canada with your husband. From that point onward, in spite of all the efforts, I just couldn't find any trace of your whereabouts.

Our last contact stopped at Pong Ngam, Thailand. Or, was it MaeSai? I can't quite remember now. The news came to Lashio that you had run away from 1st brother's home. Later, you were temporarily staying with an older couple….

Before leaving for Canada, you sent, via Abbott Yang of the Yi Buddhist Hall, a package for us - each gift had a piece of dress fabric and a longyi, clearly labeled on a piece of white paper: "for 1st sister," "for 2nd sister," "for 3rd sister." I still have that longyi, with a peacock pattern, after all these years!

Ah-Shine, I feel deeply embarrassed to be your elder sister. Upon hearing the challenges that you had to face at the time, I could do nothing but worrying and feeling sad. I couldn't even afford the bus fare from Lashio to the Thai border. I barely managed to feed my own children!
Ah-Shine, What's the use of talking about these old memories? These sad memories of us old people have no importance but to serve to show you that I am indeed your 2nd sister.… that I have been looking for you all these years.

To live in my eighties is more than enough for me. It's not much fun to live this long - just a lifetime of sadness. I have no idea when I will die and I don't really care. I just wish that I could hear from/about you before I leave this world. I want to know where you are. I want to know if you are still alive.

Ah-Shine, Father passed away more than a decade ago. The first brother left us 6 years ago, so did the first sister 3 years ago. The second brother works as a field caretaker in a remote Thai mountainside. It's not a good life, but both my 2nd son and first daughter are also in Thailand; can visit and take care of him often. The saddest is our 3rd brother. He had a stroke 3 years ago. After recovery, he suddenly forgot his Chinese, could only speak in Thai. Not long after, he hanged himself! Please tell me what kind of fate has been bestowed on our siblings??? What is the meaning of life???
Ah-Shine, There aren't that many of us left, only 3rd sister and 4th brother in Thailand and me still in Burma. In Lashio.

Ah-Shine, We have been apart for 43 years. You should be in your 60s by now. I really would like to know if you are still alive and where you live. God willing, you will see this letter and reply!!! (humingju1638@gmail.com)

兒時的某個時刻，吾突然的意思到，心跳與呼吸的存在做用。因此，吾就憋住呼吸，同時也觀察，心跳若不跳時，會是什麼樣的狀況。結論是，非常難受。

若干年後，皈依學佛，也學道，赫然發現，原來佛，道都非常非常重視，人體的内在修練，由其是我們的呼與吸。當吾，玳瑚師父，实屬萬幸的得到了，此技法與智慧後，大大讚歎傳承偉大，佛、道的超然慈悲智慧外，也生起對一切眾生的憐憫之心，因而时不時的勸請眾生，一定要好好的研習「氣」。因爲，我們的生及死、成與敗、旺與衰、強與弱、健或病，甚至於百年之後，成佛或成魔，都跟氣脱不了关係。氣多肉少則昇天。肉多氣少則下墜。

吾，玳瑚師父，憐憫眾生迷執而不悟，一世一世的在摧殘，自己的身心發展，無法享有眞正永恆的，快樂與幸福。腦無氣則低能。眼無氣則不明。耳無氣則不聞。鼻無氣則流水不易停。口無氣則聲音不雅也不亮。心無氣則不穩。肺無氣則財力不足。脾無氣則美肤不成。胃無氣則身弱。肝無氣則寡歡。腎無氣則命弱。氣，实重要之极。

眞心誠意欲释放自己的，緣份俱足的話，吾不吝於教授妳你，這大樂解脱的密技。

There was once during my growing up years that I had a sudden thought about the purpose of our heartbeat's and our breath's existence. Thus I held my breath, and observed what it would be like if my heart stopped beating too. My conclusion: it was a terrible feeling.

Many years later, after taking refuge in the Three Jewels and learning the Dharma and Tao, to my astonishment, I discovered that these schools of thoughts place an especially huge importance on the inner cultivation of our body, especially our breathing in and out. When I, Master Dai Hu, have the immense good fortune to attain these methods and wisdom, I am in tremendous praise of the greatness of my spiritual lineage, and the amazing compassion and wisdom imbued in the Dharma and Tao. At the same time, compassion for all the sentient beings arise in my heart. Therefore, from time to time, I urge sentient beings to seriously delve into the knowledge and practice of the Qi energy. Because it is intricately linked to our life and death, success and failure, prosperity and decline, strength and weakness, health or sickness. Even the matter of achieving Buddhahood (or demon-hood) hundred years later is related to our Qi. When the Qi is more than your mortal flesh, you will ascend to the Heavens. When the Qi is lesser than your mortal flesh, you will fall to the lower realms.

I, Master Dai Hu, empathise the sentient beings for they are ignorant and unaware that lifetimes after lifetimes, their body and mind development have been destroyed, hence they are unable to truly enjoy eternal bliss and happiness. Without Qi energy in the brain, we will have low intelligence. Without Qi energy in our eyes, we will suffer from poor sight. Without Qi energy in our ears, we will have trouble hearing. Without Qi energy in our nose, our nose will be constantly runny. Without Qi energy in our mouth, our voice will be unpleasant and soft. Without Qi energy in our heart, it will not have stable beats. Without Qi energy in our lungs, we will not have sufficient wealth. Without Qi energy in our spleen, we are unable to have radiant skin. Without Qi energy in our stomach, our disposition will be weak. Without Qi energy in our liver, we will suffer from depression. Without Qi energy in our kidney, we will have poor fortunes in life. The Qi energy is of paramount importance.

Choose with all sincerity to free yourself. When the conditons ripen, I will generously teach you the hidden technique to great bliss and liberty.

但是這個東西沒有讓他覺得自滿，但是由於他懂得
怎樣去跟這些名畫的交易商談價錢還有抬高價錢，
因此大部分的名畫都可以買到很好的價錢，
那大家都知道，我們想起畢加索，就會想起那些抽象畫，
而這些抽象畫才是他真正賺大錢的名畫。
在那個時候，從來沒有人做過這些超現實主義的畫，就是這種抽像畫
可以說是在創作裡面的一片藍海，但是要讓歐洲的畫商
還有收藏品的收藏家，接受那麽前衛的作品，
需要非常好的營銷還有編排，而他非常善於社交還有非常有商業頭腦，
成功的把這些非常前衛的抽象畫賣到了歐洲的貴族的手中，
大家看看這一幅畫，這幅叫【讀書】，畫的就是他的情人Walter，
在2011年倫敦拍賣裏面，成功以2520萬英鎊拍賣給一名俄羅斯的商人。
而且他是打電話來訂的。
畢加索一生裏面創作最少有37000副畫，在他死後留下來兩億美金的財產，
以通膨來計算，到現在為止大概價值100-200億美金，
當中還有幾萬副畫，還有一些別墅和雕像留給了他的後代。
那麼問題來了
為何梵高和畢加索，兩個都是畫畫的天才，
但是兩者的遭遇為什麼會不一樣呢？那梵高究竟做少的什麼東西呢？
1. 不善於社交還有公關，他鄙視那些販賣藝術品的商人，
覺得他們是在侮辱了藝術，就好像劉青雲講的一樣：
‘做人公關不好，食屎啦，沒公關，屎都沒得食’
2. 包裝和銷售
產品每一個都需要經過包裝，還有有一個銷售的技巧方能賣出
這些東西都是梵高沒有做到的
3. 情緒管理
就是因為他的之前愛情的問題。。。
啊～不是愛情啦～單戀的那些問題，所有他在情緒上沒有管理好
4.這個是最重要，他就是低估了自己藝術品的價值。
那麼我們把這些東西放在自己的身上，我們有時會覺得自己的價值不高，
覺得自己不值那個價錢，我應該只適合這些工作，或者是領這一些薪水。
那我來跟大家講一個例子，一罐在超市裡面的可樂，
和一罐在馬爾代夫度假村裡面的可樂是不是一樣的呢？
可樂的本質其實沒有改變過，在馬爾代夫的可樂其實還是可樂，
並不會特別的好喝，
但是在超市的一罐賣Rm2，馬爾代夫的一罐買USD8，(不知道，應該更貴吧)
整整相差了RM30，那麼究竟是哪裡的分別呢？
重點在於如何讓顧客覺得值得，而不是你自己覺得值得
只要讓顧客覺得值得，那麼他用多少錢來買都可以
就好像梵高的畫一樣，他一生裡面只買過一副畫，
而且還是他親戚幫他買的，賣了400，
但是他死後他的畫在拍賣會上，最高的那一個
是7。。。8250多萬美金，不懂有幾千幾萬倍？
那我們來想啦～為什麼買畫的人覺得7150萬美金值得呢？
那除了它是獨一無二之外，畫背後的淒慘故事，
這幅畫帶給他的感覺等等
也有可能是因為這幅畫的投資價值，還有背後的那些故事
那所有他才買了這幅畫。
所以銷售就是要讓顧客覺得你的價錢值得，而不是你自己覺得值得。
讓顧客覺得值得，除了就是一些基本的條件
例如是品質啊～或者是公司的名氣等等，更重要的就是情緒，
80%的購買都是感性（情緒）而做出決定的，尤其是在這麼貴的東西身上，
理性的原因根本不可能成為他購買的關鍵。
那麼情緒購買，大概可以分為5種：
1. 視覺效果
那視覺效果，除了就是產品的包裝，產品的一些廣告之外
那個銷售人員（的外表）也是很重要的，
那如果彭于晏和八兩金一起賣同一個產品給你，
那你自己覺得是選誰呢？那答案就是很明顯的
不然賣跑車的商家幹嘛聘請一大堆的模特兒來賣跑車呢？
2. Pride ，就是身份和地位的象徵
如果你能讓顧客，在買了你的產品過後，
他的身份和地位會比以前不一樣，或者變得與眾不同
儘管那不一定會成為事實
但是那種感覺會讓他們，得到嚮往的生活。
就好像賣屋子的人一樣，他為什麼要花那麼多錢，
去做好那個示範屋呢？
原因就是讓顧客覺得他們以後的家園就會是這樣的，
那就從此過著幸福快樂的生活，那當然啦～不一定會達成
但你有讓他有那種感覺是最重要的

例如好像那種promotion啊！買一送一啊～
那種其實是用這種因素的
4. 喜歡和偏愛，這個不需要解釋，喜歡就是喜歡
如果他是喜歡你的產品，喜歡你的人，或者是喜歡那個品牌
對於那個品牌有一定的偏愛
那麼根本不需考慮到其他理性的因素。
5. 恐懼
恐懼也是其中一個購買的因素，例如好像有限期的Promotion，
或者是你錯過了這個就會賣更貴啊～類似好像那種Promotion
好像保險的銷售其實也是利用恐懼這一個點，來做銷售的
那麼大家的人生想做梵高還是畢加索呢？由你自己來決定！
最後送上畢加索的一句話，這句話其實是蠻有意思的
我們都知道藝術並不是真相，它只是尋找真相的一個謊言，
所以藝術家需要會講解還有說服，讓大家明白你的謊言

各位大家好，歡迎來到HenHenTV的奇異世界，我是Tommy。
從小都有聽一些童謠長大吧～其實那時那裡會知道童謠的歌詞真實意思呢！我們都是跟住童謠的旋律在唱，好像是这一首：小宝宝，吃蛋糕，饭仔mam mam 叔叔餵到。。。。
, 或者是：London bridge is falling down...等等的童謠，你確定你真的明白他的意思？
今天我們就來說六個童謠背後的恐怖故事，为什么是六個？！！！因为我没时间做够十個！
6倫敦橋倒塌下來了（London Bridge is falling down）
大家都有玩過這個遊戲和唱過這首歌吧？這橋建於1014年，英國國王為了抵抗丹麥的入侵而燒毀了這條橋，在1091年被暴風雨摧毀，然後在重建，在1136年被燒毀。然後就開始建石橋，上面那時是有商店，屋子，教堂等等，但是在1212發生了一場大火，它是從石橋的兩端燒起，結果燒死了3000多人，也有一個傳說就是有人提倡人柱，就是把小孩子活埋在基石下面，就可以穩固橋不會再倒塌。
5. 十個小黑人 ten little Indians
Ten little nigger boys went out to dine;
十個小黑人出外用膳；

One choked his little self, and then there were nine.
一個噎死還剩九個。

Nine little nigger boys sat up very late;
九個小黑人熬夜到很晚；

One overslept himself, and then there were eight.
一個睡過頭還剩八個。

Eight little nigger boys travelling in Devon;
八個小黑人在到丹文遊玩；

One said he'd stay there, and then there were seven.
一個說要留在那兒還剩七個。

Seven little nigger boys chopping up sticks;
七個小黑人在砍柴；
One chopped himself in half, and then there were six.
一個把自己砍成兩半還剩六個。

Six little nigger boys playing with a hive;
六個小黑人玩蜂窩；

A bumble-bee stung one, and then there were five.
一隻黃蜂叮住一個還剩五個。

Five little nigger boys going in for law;
五個小黑人進入法院；

One got in chancery, and then there were four.
一個被留下還剩四個。

Four little nigger boys going out to sea;
四個小黑人到海邊；

A red herring swallowed one, and then there were three.
一條紅鯡魚吞下一個還剩三個。

Three little nigger boys walking in the Zoo;
三個小黑人走進動物園裡；

A big bear bugged one, and then there were two.
一隻大熊抓走一個還剩兩個。

Two little nigger boys sitting in the sun;
兩個小黑人坐在太陽下；

One got frizzled up, and then there was one.
一個熱死只剩一個。

One little nigger boy living all alone;
一個小黑人覺得好寂寞；

He got married, and then there were none.
He went and hanged himself, and then there were none.
他結婚後一個也不剩。
他上吊後一個也不剩。

在歌詞裡面十個小黑人，最後一個也不剩。
這首歌詞原版是的小黑人nigger，過後被譯為小印第安人（nigger是非常帶有種族歧視的字眼）
到最後一個小黑人他覺得很寂寞，就自己上吊自殺了，過後因為覺得不適合兒童而改成結婚。而這首童謠也因為這黑暗的歌詞而被改成推理小說（無人生還 and then They Were None）大家可以去找這本書看看。而過後因為太過有種族歧視的意思在裡面而被改成現在的那首one little，two little，three little Indians。。。
4. Lizzie Borden took an Axe （莉淇波登拿了斧頭）
這首歌聽起來已經是毛骨悚然的，裡面的歌詞更是恐怖。它的歌詞如下：
Lizzie Borden took an axe, 莉琪波登拿起斧头
and gave her mother forty whacks. 劈了妈妈四十下
When she saw what she had done, 当她意识到自己的行为，
she gave her father forty-one. 又砍了爸爸四十一下。
这首童谣来自一个真人真事。在1892，一名美國银行家银行家安德鲁波登（Andrew Borden）被他33 岁的女儿莉兹波登（Lizzie Borden）发现用斧头砍死在屋内，之后莉兹的继母又被发现被斧头砍死在二楼。聽說是她殺了繼母過後被她爸爸發現而順手也殺了他爸爸。
但是最後她lizzie borden被法官判无罪释放，再次引起舆论哗然。所以才有了這首歌，但現在有哪一個媽媽會叫自己的女兒唱這首歌啊？
3. There is a crooked man
這首歌謠源自英國王室（Stuart）時期英格蘭國王查理一世
彎腰曲背的男人是指蘇格蘭將軍亞歷山大‧萊斯利（General Sir Alexander Leslie）。
這位將軍代表蘇格蘭，與英格蘭簽訂宗教及政治上的和平協約，「。. 但是其實crooked可以解釋為神經病患看這個世界也是扭曲的，在黑暗時期很多人因此而發瘋！這首歌也因為這樣而被納入在Conjuring 2電影裡面


2. Three blind mice 三隻瞎老鼠
Three blind mice, three blind mice. 三隻盲鼠，三隻盲鼠
See how they run, see how they run. 看牠們竄，看牠們竄
They all ran after the farmer's wife, 牠們全都追農夫老婆跑
Who cut off their tails with a carving knife 她用切肉刀斬掉牠們尾巴
Did you ever see such a sight in your life 你這輩子是否看過這奇觀
As three blind mice? 三隻盲鼠的奇觀

16世紀正是歐洲宗教革命時期，雖然亨利八世推行宗教改革、提倡基督新教，但他女兒瑪莉皇后卻是個虔誠的天主教徒（舊教）。她非常排斥新教，殺了很多基督教徒，因為這樣她也稱之為血腥瑪莉（Blood Mary）。
那三隻老鼠「three mice」是指三名堅守新教信條的貴族，他們因為信奉新教，因此被冠上「密謀抗后」的罪名處刑。
但是和童謠唱的不一樣，瑪莉皇后沒有將他們分屍，而是將他們活活燒死
1. 杜樹記裡面的 My mother has killed me我的媽媽殺了我

My mother has killed me, 我的媽媽殺了我，
My father is eating me, 我的爸爸在吃我
My brothers and sisters sit under the table, 我的兄弟姊妹坐在餐桌底
Picking up my bones, And they bury them, 撿起我的骨頭，埋了它們，
under the cold marble stones。埋到冰冷的石碑下

這個童謠是源自格林童話The Juniper Tree 杜樹記，那種血腥黑暗的原版故事為：故事描述一名小男孩，被狠心的繼母殺害，並將屍體煮成肉湯 ，當作爸爸的晚餐；小男孩的妹妹傷心欲絕，於是將爸爸吃剩的哥哥的骨頭，拿到杜松樹 下埋葬，沒想到小男孩化身為小鳥，並藉由美妙的歌聲取得三樣東西，回家殺掉繼母。

西方國家和東方國家對於死亡的態度從童謠就可以看得出來，東方國家比較避忌談論這個話題而西方國家從小就直接和兒童灌輸死亡的觀念，但無論如何，教導兒女如何做人處事，黑白分明是比考試考滿分更重要。
