Sudan, the last male Northern white rhino, died today 😔 It marks the demise of a once mighty species laid low first by colonial hunting and then by rampant Poaching for their horns.
I had the pleasure of filming Sudan nearly three years ago at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy for my tv show on endangered wildlife Adventures to the Edge. Only when the buying stops can the killing stop to give the remaining rhino species a chance of survival in the wild.
