I may have left Vietnam, but the Vietnamese Diaspora Tour just kicked off in Milan where I met up with a Vietnamese Italian friend. We ate some decent Pho complete with Sriracha. We also met a woman who went to Ngo Quyen Highschool in Bien Hoa, which is right next to my mother's old house and where my cousins currently live. You can imagine how happy I was for this encounter. . This series will introduce you to the lives of Vietnamese people and people who love Vietnam you never knew existed beyond Vietnam.
