It not only has an excellent cutting skill but the dishes are also well-known for the outstanding presentation Wang Hongjian from Nantong, Jiangsu Province, once learned this culinary art. Therefore, he especially showed his cutting skills in the show, cooking ‘Dazhu gansi’, ‘Wensi tofu’, and stewed pork balls with crab roes.
If you want to trace the birthplace of Huaiyang cuisine, you can't miss the intoxicating scenery of "Charm of Jiangsu". There is not only the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which is as famous as the Great Wall in history but also has the most fascinating garden art in Jiangnan. Every city in Jiangsu exudes its unique charm!

我係晴報嘅酒專欄 - 「淮揚美食配香檳」
早前在疫情還沒有這麼嚴峻的時間,試了主打淮揚菜的「十里洋場」。要選一瓶葡萄酒可以由頭喝到尾去襯淮揚菜的話,其實沒有什麼比香檳更百搭,試了集團的特別版香檳Champagne Henri Giraud Fut de Chene MV 13 Ay Grand Cru Brut配淮揚菜,喜歡家郷年糕小黃魚,菜式看似淡味,原來味道非常鮮甜而濃郁,呷一口香檳更提升小黃魚的鮮味。由於疫情緊張,大家最好還是忍一忍留在家中抗疫。原來餐廳為提高大家的免疫力,推出了龍皇珍饈百味套餐(每位港幣$498),可堂食亦接受外賣,6道菜中的水晶肴肉、花膠鮑魚佛跳牆及家郷年糕小黃魚等,配上香檳亦相當匹配。還有潤肺養顏的杏汁燉燕窩甜品,套餐性價比超高。

I visited 十里洋場 10 Shanghai Huaiyang cuisine before the situation got worse. If u could only choose one wine to pair with Huaiyang cuisine, there’s nothing better than picking a bottle of champagne! I had Champagne Henri Giraud Fut de Chene MV 13 Ay Grand Cru Brut paired with Briased Baby Yellow Croaker with Glutinous Rice Cake. The champagne elevated the sweetness of the fish. They have a new special 6-course menu, which you can eat there or takeaway ($498@person) to match with champagne! Very value for money! U can also enjoy delicious food & wine pairing at home!

揚州是一座擁有2500多年曆史的古城。只要上過中學,應該都會背一句“煙花三月下揚州”,或者“二十四橋明月夜”。自古以來,這裡就以交通便利、風景秀美著稱於世。另外,揚州的美食也是獨具特色,這裡醞釀了舉世聞名的淮揚菜:獅子頭、三丁包、燙干絲……著名詩人余光中曾經盛讚“揚州菜香,舉國口饞”。 2019年10月31日,聯合國教科文組織更是把揚州列為了世界美食之都。說實話,自從開始做美食節目以來,我們就對揚州垂涎三尺了。因為疫情的原因,沒能趕在煙花三月過來揚州,趁著現在春光還好,趕緊把這個揚州夢給圓了吧。
