Remember this precious moment 11 years ago? Remember all those beautiful years we had working together side by side? Remember going back and forth to London every week? Remember staying up till late to meet the deadline? Remember the joy we had after all the hard work? Remember your photography & design studio in the heart of Birmingham city centre?

Ohhh how I miss the good old days! To be able to work long hours. To be able to walk tirelessly. To be able to see flawlessly. To be able to breathe without pain…

Thank you for giving me years of priceless experiences that I wouldn’t trade for anything else in this world. And yes, if you asked me, I would do it all over again with you and only you. But as for now, even to be able to wake up every morning, still breathing, and to see your face next to me is more than enough for me…

Maybe I will never be that same energetic person ever again but I promise you that for as long as The Almighty allows me to get out of bed every morning, I will keep on supporting every step of yours until my last breath. And let’s finish #TheOldForgeCottage - our dream house project - together…

It can be hard for us women to say out loud that we are successful,
partly due to imposter syndrome,
partly due to how we have been conditioned not to toot our own horn too loudly
and partly due to the fact than when many professional women feel overwhelmed and burnt out from stress of our jobs, the last thing we want to do is celebrate. 🥵

But celebrating your achievements thus far, however big or small is such an important step for your overall well-being and confidence moving forward.

And it’s so so important for women leaders as a whole to be celebrating themselves and to support each other. 🎉🥳🍾

When we are recognized and when we are appreciated, we can become so much more. ❤️

Mr Dad and I have been working together for various projects ever since we got married 17 years ago. Even though we have so many differences, I believe that’s what makes us a great team cos we compliment one another. Hence we have both always enjoyed working together so much! Unfortunately when my health started to decline 8 years ago, I haven’t been able to join him that much - just supporting him from behind.

But last year when we came to view #TheOldForgeCottage 🏡 and fell in love at the first sight with this period property, I have been dreaming to work alongside Mr Dad and his team. Of course I wouldn’t think that it would be possible considering my poor health condition. Plus last year alone, I had to go through 2 long bad episodes until I couldn’t even speak. But then I planned and Allah planned…and indeed Allah is The Best Planner!

Yes, all praise is due to Allah The Almighty for making my dreams come true to project manage our dream home alongside Mr Dad. Don’t ask how I do it cos I don’t have an answer to that but miraculously, one day I just went out of the house and did it. Of course the process isn’t easy but it’s all worth it. With a few hiccups along the way plus 2 incidents where the team almost had to call an ambulance for me, Alhamdulillah, I managed to push through in the end.

The most important part of this reno-journey is that it finally makes me feel normal again. Plus the fact that I’ve got to work side-by-side with the love of my life - Mr Dad - makes me enjoy every bit of the process very much! And having to witness the result of our hard work really means a lot to me.

On top of it all, a big fat thank you to my husband - Mr Dad - for all his hard work and of course, not forgetting my dear sister Dr Auntie for her endless support and for believing in me. I guess these 2 important people plus my 3 amazing children are some of the main reasons that have driven me to never give up…

●材料 (マグカップ350mlの場合)

・コーヒー100ml
(コーヒー飲めない方はココアでOK)
・牛乳150ml
・ミルクフォーム
【牛乳40ml,生クリーム60ml】
・ココアパウダー　少々
・チョコレート　お好みで

●作り方のポイント
・ミルクフォームはやや硬め
※柔らかすぎるとこぼす時に全て溢れた状態になってしまうから

●Material (for 350ml mug)

·100ml coffee
(If you can't drink coffee, cocoa is OK)
·150ml of milk
·Milk foam
【40ml of milk, 60ml of fresh cream】
·A little cocoa powder
·Chocolate to your liking

● Points on how to make it
·Milk foam is slightly hard
*If it is too soft, everything will overflow when spilled.

Hi friends! I hope you're having a GREAT weekend. Happy Sunday! Today's vlog is honestly SO MUCH FUN. My best friend, Michelle, and I tried NEW MAKEUP that I just bought last week. We got a chance to test our the NEW KVD Beauty GOOD APPLE FOUNDATION... wow! Let me tell you, it is FULL COVERAGE. I actually look forward to wearing it soon when I do a full face of makeup. Another product that I LOVED this weekend was from NYX Cosmetics, I cannot believe the lip gloss DID NOT come off... I had to scrub it off so hard with makeup remover that was oil based. But, how cool, right?! A lip gloss that doesn't budge! We tested out a lot more items and it was fun to do a mini makeup review with you guys! We also opened up a package from one of our subscribers, make sure you check out my PO Box address down below. I also gave up a small update on my new house and some new home decor items I just added! The rest of the weekend are all about our precious dogs and we had a SUPER FUN girl's weekend! We hope you enjoyed hanging out with us!
