Took a fall when riding this morning, because this annoying motorcyclist abruptly cut in front of our peloton and caused all of us to slam on the brakes suddenly. I was at the back and I couldn't react in time, so I touched the back wheel of the cyclist in front of me and skidded.
All good - I got away with scrapes and bruises, and my bike is fine. But my helmet is cracked and my shoes are scratched.
Such actions are really irresponsible and I cannot understand why the motorcyclist couldn't have waited to pass behind us instead! It was fortunate that I slid towards the side of the road and not outwards into the road.
To all cyclists out there, please be careful. To all motorists (esp the non riders), please show us more patience.
