I enjoyed chatting candidly with Ming Pao — on culture, heritage, and breaking stereotypes.

I appreciate how they were able to capture the cultural nuances that are part of my identity, while also pushing forward the reality that in many ways, the cultural divide between the Philippines and Hong Kong is not so far apart as one may think.

While we continue to run free playgroups for our community partners, we’ve decided to open playgroup sessions to raise funds for charity organisations!

Our “Playdates with a Purpose” class is a 45-minute Kindermusik session for mixed ages 0-3 years. It is a chance to experience our well-loved program at @baumhaushk, while also raising funds for our chosen charity this month, @pathfindershk.

All proceeds of the sessions go towards their projects supporting vulnerable migrant women and their children.

Two sessions with limited slots available— May 15th at 3pm and May 30th at 4pm.

I’ll personally be leading the May 15th session, and I look forward to seeing you there!

This is a dream come true for all kids and parents!!!
Do not worry all toys are sanitized using a hospital grade dry steamer - parents are generally very concerned (understandably so!). Each month you get to swap the toys with a new set so the fun never ends! @happybatonhk also provide educational & play tips to make homeschooling more fun (& screen free!)
