This is more than a mask!

It is a statement to express my solidarity for #WorkingMomsHK! This Mother's Day, I am showing my support and awareness for the super powers mothers have, and the many challenges they face.

I am proud to wear this mask to celebrate the many ”aunties” who lovingly dedicate their time to nurture children like their own.

As a teacher, my partnership with caregivers is essential; They help raise the next generation with their examples of love, respect and perseverance.

While we continue to run free playgroups for our community partners, we’ve decided to open playgroup sessions to raise funds for charity organisations!

Our “Playdates with a Purpose” class is a 45-minute Kindermusik session for mixed ages 0-3 years. It is a chance to experience our well-loved program at @baumhaushk, while also raising funds for our chosen charity this month, @pathfindershk.

All proceeds of the sessions go towards their projects supporting vulnerable migrant women and their children.

Two sessions with limited slots available— May 15th at 3pm and May 30th at 4pm.

I’ll personally be leading the May 15th session, and I look forward to seeing you there!

In the past, we’ve been glad that families at @baumhaushk have been so supportive of baby goods drives for @pathfindershk.

Last February (after TWO years of planning), our team finally kickstarted our free community playgroups in their centre. It has always been our dream to be able to give children equal access to educational activities.

I am thankful to Teacher Angela for carrying out our weekly #Kindermusik program with enthusiasm. When I see her response and the children’s as well, I remember that in reality, teaching is a gift we give ourselves. In many ways, we learn more about life from the children we grow with.
