Middle aged happiness is having to fold 7 towels from your next batch of laundry instead of 80 pieces of little people’s clothing. Its also cleaning out the dryer lint from your tumble machine. It’s also walking barefoot on the floor you just freshly mopped and disinfected. I found myself saying things like “Oh I have never seen this species of tulip in this colour before”. I had a ball role playing with Ryan Gosling yesterday visiting Glenveagh Castle. He was “the owner” of of the castle and gardens and giving me a tour of his gardens.
