This photo was taken during our trip to Japan from almost three years ago. 🇯🇵 Yet it’s still one of my most memorable experiences to date.
I wasn’t a bunny-mom (or slave to be precise) yet at the time and the only rabbits I’ve seen were in pet shops. 🐰 And it’s a completely different experience to see these smart adorable creatures roaming around happily in a safe haven (there are no predators on this island 🌴). My heart was so full on the ferry trip back ❤️

If you are planning to visit this island, please make sure you do not try to pick up the rabbits! They are extremely timid and hate to be picked up so they will struggle and scratch you, which might end up both of you being hurt! Cause rabbits have very delicate bone structure and are very prone to fractures.
Another tip is if you want to increase your popularity among them bring fresh greens🥬 (ideally romaine lettuce or cabbage).
