My personal battle with looking skinny is on going. Skinny is always better I told myself! If I am
not pretty enough at least I am skinny enough... My self worth was what others think of me . The outcome was a degrading physical body and an unhappy girl.

As I am older now.. More woman than a girl 🤭 .. I won’t say I am cured but I would say I would surely on any other day choose to be HEALTHY over being SKINNY. As a female, a model, a trainer ; I want to admit at times I still feel lost and confuse on what’s right. But half the battle is the realisation and acknowledgment ! ❤️ let’s all continuously learn and grow... @ Hong Kong

A client I train said to me "I eat smaller portions for my meals, including salads and I hardly lose weight? I sometimes even GAIN weight!”

My advice... If you want to lose weight, you actually need to consume more so that your body will have the energy to burn it off.
Now you may wonder why? It's not always about what you eat as there is no such thing as good or bad foods to help you achieve weight loss.🤔🤔🤔
Here is something to keep in mind... HEALTHY food can also be calorie dense. A typical salad 🥗 can easily top 850 calories, while a Big Mac 🍔 with fries 🍟 and large drink only has 750 calories! So it’s not all about choosing healthy, you need to choose SMART.
Another cause of minimal weight loss is that you probably didn't consume enough calories to reach your RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate). Simply put, you need to eat your daily RMR to lose weight. Why? You burn off your RMR by BREATHING and LAYING IN BED!
For example: My personal weight is 110 lbs. and my RMR is 1200 calories per day. If I wanted to lose weight I would target 1200-1300 calories per day! EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT! A female who is the same age as me, yet weighs slightly more, may actually need to consume MORE calories to hit her RMR to effectively lose weight. If she doesn’t consume at least her recommended RMR, she may have difficulty losing weight.
It is always a good idea to consult with a personal trainer first to talk about ALL options if you want to see results or simply want to get FIT and feel better about yourself. ♥️💪♥️💪
