【 外務論壇 －《香港2030＋》為誰規劃？ | External Affairs Forum - “Hong Kong 2030+” is a strategic plan for who? 】
發展局與規劃署共同推出了《香港2030＋》作為香港未來數十年的規劃遠景，並以建設高密度的宜居城市，迎接新經濟挑戰和機遇，以及創造容量以達致可持續發展為其三大元素。《香港2030＋》提倡重點發展東大嶼山都會及新界北兩個策略增長區，逐漸建設東、西、北三條發展帶。然而，《香港2030＋》被指暗中推動香港深圳同城化。接近港中邊境的新界北將大興土木，規模龐大。但此區和北部經濟帶連接多個現有及興建中之港中口岸，又缺乏南下交通連接，亦與現時商業圈距離甚遠，勢淪為福田、羅湖的衛星城市，加速港中融合。
港大學生會邀請到本土研究社成員陳劍青先生分享對此議題的看法，也誠邀同學到場一同參與，發問及交流。

The Development Bureau and the Planning Department has introduced the “Hong Kong 2030+” to guide planning, land and infrastructure development in the future decades. The plan highlights the planning for a liveable high-density city, embracing new economic challenge and opportunities, and creating capacity for sustainable growth as its three building blocks. “Hong Kong 2030+” suggests the development of East Lantau Metropolis and New Territories North as the strategic growth areas and thr gradual building of the three development axes. Nevertheless, the “Hong Kong 2030+” has been accused for underhandedly promoting urban integration of Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The northern New Territories region near the Hong Kong-China border will undergo massive construction, thereby becoming susceptible to the integration through becoming a satellite city of Fu Tian and Lo Wu.
The Hong Kong University Students’ Union is glad to have invited Mr. Chan Kim Ching, Member of the Liber Research Community to share his thoughts on the topic. Students are also encouraged to raise your questions and share your thoughts in this forum.
