Check out the recent Hong Kong movie, Beyond the dream #幻愛, this weekend when it is still shown in cinemas. I watched it twice in three days. You can’t tell which scene you can resonate to but this movie seems to cast a spell that pulls you into it. #explorehongkong_recommendation

This is not an ordinary romance movie. As what @tatlerhongkong wrote, “The duos (male lead and female lead) give reviewers an incredibly moving performance on psychological complexity, which makes it a truly compelling piece to watch.”

It is a love story of a young man, who is recovering from schizophrenia, and an imagined girl and his psychological counsellor.

We planned to visit Tuen Mun on Tuesday for photos, where filming of Beyond the dream took place, but had to cancel it due to the heavy rain. Although this photo was not taken in Tuen Mun, at least you can find the light rail train where the male lead @lauchunhim.terrance and female lead @ceciliachoii met in the movie.

The movie is in Cantonese but with English subtitles. A movie that I highly recommend!

One of my favourite Chinese restaurants right at the city centre(Tsim Sha Tsui) - 金山海鮮酒家 Kam Shan Seafood Restaurant. This is where you can still find many traditional #DimSum (and a view of the busy Nathan Road) that can hardly be found in other Chinese restaurants.⁣⁣
