I discovered yoga when I was 7 years old through mum’s second-hand yoga book and I “learnt” the basic asanas from the illustrations in the book. Fast forward to my early 20s, I learnt yoga from certified tutors but eventually, I took up a 150-hours Hatha Yoga Instructor Course, just so I could do self-practice at my own space and time.
And then the offer to teach came along.
My class won’t force anyone to twist or bend themselves into implausible shapes or headstands. I believe yoga should encourage people to practise, not to perform.
Yoga is a personal journey for everybody and is unique to each individual, so let’s discover it together!
Come and join me for a basic Hatha class where I will focus on the feeling, not the display.
