💪🏼SocialVegan type
I'm deeply committed to the vegan cause and all that it stands for so I make a conscious effort to align my daily choices with my values. I prefer to support and promote strictly vegan restaurants, brands and #entrepreneurs and feel that it's all about authenticity and not watering down or pandering to reach a wider audience. We do ourselves and our cause a great disservice when we stray too far from our core beliefs. People are savvy and sophisticated, and when they're being fed a line, they pick up on it quickly and it undermines our credibility, no matter how compelling our words may be. If we want to inspire lasting, meaningful change, we need to wholeheartedly embrace that message ourselves. Surely if what we're selling is so appealing, we should be buying into it ourselves each and every day right? The messenger can be just as salient as the message, and when we are a living testament to the cause we're championing, there's no more effective way to make our case.

🍭Favorite SocialVegan eateries
@lovinghuthongkong is my go-to staple for tasty and affordable vegan fare. Love and respect owner Christine Kwok who epitomizes the compassion and conviction we should all aspire to. Also enjoy dropping by @confusion_hk and @popvegan_hk on a regular basis. A few years ago, I helped introduce vegan menus at all the restaurants at my club @lrc_hk , so I'm always happy to encourage other members to try out more #ethical, healthy and environmentally friendly choices.

In Thailand, I make it a point to drop by @veganerie whenever I'm in town. Great food, great atmosphere and owner @jajaht is as inspiring as she is passionate about animal liberation.
