Bursting with vibrant brilliance, uncover some of the savoir-faire behind a bold emerald-accented ring and necklace from the 'Dior Rose' High Jewelry collection by Victoire de Castellane. Based on the initial studio sketch, a wax model is in the first step to creating pieces of this level and complexity, to define volumes and resolve any issues of scale and so forth. Textured for heightened realism, the layered gold mounts are skillfully set with a medley of tsavorites and the richly hued central stones, as well as round and baguette-cut white diamonds. The effect recalls stained glass, one of the collection's four themes.
