Part 5/5 of my #MomenNegaraku

It belongs to the World Most Iconic Towerrunning Race - La Verticale de la Tour Eiffel @laverticaledelatoureiffel

I have been participated twice (2018 and 2019 edition).

This is the only race whereby my parents, siblings, friends and fans can watch me running up the Eiffel tower live or even replay as they manage to stream it on Facebook, YouTube and even on EuroSport Channel for year 2018 edition. It was one of the most iconic outdoor Towerrunning races!

I was so proud when I found out that I got qualified as an Elite Athlete back in year 2018 when I was relatively new in the sport. I have set myself to achieve a Top 10 Position in 2018 edition and I was so happy when I got 9th placing! (Refer to First 5 photos).

In year 2019, I was back again and this time with the goal to improve my time for like 30 seconds at least. I was in a great shape and I did improve my time this time but not to the time I want to and came back 4th placing. I knew what I have to do to improve it as I haven't fully developed for the sport.

In year 2020 edition, I strongly believe that it will be a great race for me as I got a 100% winning rate so far. Winning my first race in Dubai, Almas Tower Run had gave me a boost to kick-start my career and improve the time of all the races that I am going to take part this year. I was so glad to upset my European brother, current World No. 1 Towerrunner, @towerrunner Piotr Łobodziński for 2 seconds on that race.

I am looking forward to race with him again in 2020 edition as he won 5 consecutive times in La Verticale de la Tour Eiffel! He is a role model for me, being able to run all Five Times under 8 minutes is so amazing and strong.

In conclusion, I want my country Malaysia to be proud of me even with or without any recognition. I tried very hard to get that and get obsessed with it at some point of time, but I have learned that it is not important to me anymore.

I just have to stay focus on improving my performance and reach all my goals, which these are what matter to me the most!
