Air-Conditioning Instructions on Campus and Suspension of Summer International Travel Plans amid COVID-19 Pandemic
各位教職員工生您好
自即日起，本校多人使用的空間如需使用冷氣，應同時開啟前後門，如有窗戶，所有窗戶以開啟10公分為原則，以確保通風良好。如為全館空調的建築，除儘量做到上述要求外，空調系統還應開啟對外換氣模式。此外，多人使用的空間不建議使用電風扇。如為單人使用的空間，使用冷氣及電風扇時可不需開啟門窗，但須注意做好防疫措施。
此外，世界各國疫情仍然緊張，為避免受到感染及回國居家檢疫的不便，籲請教職員工生暫停暑期的出國規劃，以維護臺灣得來不易的防疫成果。

Dear students and colleagues,
Starting today, to turn on air-conditioning in spaces with multiple occupants, please open both the front and the back doors, and leave all windows (if any) open with a width of at least 10 cm, to ensure proper ventilation. In a central air-conditioned building, while following the aforementioned instructions as much as possible, please also make sure the air-conditioning system is switched to the indoor/outdoor air-exchange mode. The use of electric fans is discouraged in spaces with multiple occupants. In single-person spaces, the doors and windows may be closed during the use of air-conditioning and electric fans, provided that related anti-COVID-19 measures are followed properly.
Currently, the COVID-19 pandemic shows no sign of abating worldwide. To avoid possible infection and the inconvenience of conducting a home quarantine upon return, please consider suspending your plans for summer international travel to protect the safety and health of all NTU members and the wider public in Taiwan.
