This little girl, she came to our family as a miracle sent by The Almighty. The very first girl of our family’s 3rd generation. Her parents proudly named her FA.TI.MAH or فَاطِمَة taken from the noble name of the Prophet’s ﷺ daughter. She carries her name so gracefully. Today marks 7 years of her first debut to this world!

Yes. This is a birthday post, and I tried to figure out what I should write about Fatimah because everything about her is remarkable. Her character. Her qualities. Her determination. Her strong spirit. Her hard work and dedication. Her wise words. The list goes on and on. All praise is due to Allah.

If I were to describe my lovely niece, Fatimah, I think I’d need a series of long posts for just an introduction about her, otherwise I wouldn’t do her enough justice! This little girl has taught me a lot. The biggest thing I learned from her is what PURE LOVE looks like! If there’s someone with a heart of gold, I’d say my niece, Fatimah has a heart embedded with brilliant cut diamonds. Trust me, I’m not exaggerating! She’s the girl who always puts others first before herself. All praise is due to Allah.

The second big thing that I learned from her is the way she’s able to pour out her emotions, feelings, and thoughts into poetic words! She is capable of expressing her excitement, anger, joy, or even grief into words. And her choice of words put us in awe! All praise is due to Allah.

My sweetheart Fatimah,
I’ve got special colourful love letters for you up there. Go on and read them all. Very special for you 😍

I PRAY FOR YOU... Surah Al-Mursalat is one of my favourite surahs in the Quran, especially the version recited by @omarhishamalarabi. I must confess that when I first read this surah many many years back, I didn’t take the initiative to read the meaning of this surah. When I came to carefully learn its meaning, it gave me goosebumps!

I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels frightened when hearing about The Last Day or The Last Hour. The day when there will be violent storms, great shaking of earthquakes. Thinking about the last hour, I reflected upon my life. They say that life is the result of our own actions. I couldn’t agree more! The seeds of our actions we plant in this world...we will taste its fruits in the life after. Whether the fruit is sweet or sour, we’re solely accountable for it!

And glad tidings from Allah be to those who bear patience. Patience when facing tough times. Patience when dealing with the loss of loved ones. Patience when suffering with great illness. Allah has guaranteed those who are patient that He will give them rewards without measure. Patience and victory are twin brothers. Allah promised those who are patient that He is with them and will grant them a clear victory!

I’m addressing you...anyone who is affected by sickness or illness, especially my dearest sister Mrs Mom @thefamily.uk. I sincerely pray for you: “May The Almighty, who is capable of making the impossible possible, heal you and give you strength. May He grant you a cure. May He grant you miraculous recovery. May the love, peace and comfort be with you as you battle this illness. May He cure you and reward you for all the suffering that you’re going through. May He grant you a complete return to normal health and make you even better than you were before.” 💝

Omar Mukhtar. This young boy is the coolness of my eyes. Not once did I not see a smile on his face. Whenever he sees me, he will greet me with a smile first before he utters a single word. It’s like he can always find a thousand reasons to smile...every time! His smile is a reflection of his calm, peaceful soul. MashaAllah.

Omar Mukhtar. This young boy went through a lot. He has on his shoulder great responsibilities. It is said, “With great power there comes great responsibility”. But for him, I would say, “With great responsibility there grows a great powerful person!” His acceptance towards his responsibilities is a reflection of his kind, loving soul. MashaAllah.

Omar Mukhtar. This young boy is a blessing from Allah to us. He makes our hearts lighter and worry a little less. 2nd September 2020 marks 14 years since his birth. There is no best birthday gift in the world to the world's most best person, except du’as that Allah keeps him safe from all kind of evil, grants him countless barakah in life, showers him with endless mercy, and blesses him with a beautiful life ahead. Aameen ya Allah.

I was on FaceTime with my sister (Mrs Mom) one night and Ali came over. He said to me very excitedly, “I’ve just published my own book today!” I didn’t expect to hear that from him, but I quickly said, “Wow, that’s good news!” Ali got even more excited and he started showing me the content of his book. He explained every part of his book, one by one. Then I asked him, “How much is your book?” He was stunned a bit, then slowly he said, “Umm, £3...” I guess he wasn’t thinking how much his book would be ? So I said to him, “Ah, £3! I wanna buy your book. Can you sell your book to me please?” Oh, you should have seen his face...Ali was ecstatic! He was over the moon!!

For some, this book may be meaningless, coming from a 4yr-old boy. But for me, this book means the whole world. And I’m so proud to be Ali’s first customer! I remember so well how my parents raised me. Every little idea I had when I was a child, they always listened, they appreciated, they praised, they encouraged. They always took me seriously. Not once did they ignore me. Not once did they tell me that my idea or what I did was bad or useless. Not once. There was so much love, so much support, so much encouragement...from my childhood until now. Truly, it all started at home. And now I want to give the same thing back to my nephews and nieces. Love.
