Persatuan Sindrom Down Malaysia (PSDM) is organizing this event to raise funds (1) for two new double-storey buildings to be used mainly to train the young adults with Down Syndrome (DS) (2) to increase the Fund for the building of a Sheltered Home for senior adults with DS which was launched in November 2017 and (3) to contribute towards the training activities of young children with DS. The new buildings will house facilities for classrooms, sheltered workshop & hostelry to provide teaching and training of living, vocational and career skills to prepare these young adults with DS for employment and independent living. The Fesyen Vaganza Amal 2019 and Hi-Tea is a fashion show which will involve the joint-participation of 30 children with DS of various ages and 30 celebrities, who will hand in hand, take to the runway and display 60 new outfits created by Malaysian renowned designer Anas Abdullah. Application will be made to the Malaysia Book of Records to recognise this Event as the First Fashion Show to be staged which will see a combination of individuals with DS & the celebrities join forces to parade the creative designs of Anas Abdullah.
