(English Follows) 那天在台中的光復新村，我決定用麥克風去尋找早期的回憶。大部分的居民已經遷走了，而房子已經變成廢墟。用眼睛看，就會有很豐富的想像，我開始猜冬天的棉被會放在哪個櫃子裡，或哪一家的滷鍋會放在廚房的什麼位置。但當我閉上眼睛，我發現耳朵是聽不到這些回憶的，只聽見外面掃落葉的聲音，跟自己走在空蕩房間的腳步。人呢？溫度呢？
走著走著，我聽見老人家的歌聲，循著聲音找到來自山東煙台的齊老師。原來，光復新村的回憶就藏在她的心裡！原本只安排採訪齊老師的女兒（范姐）結果這對母女就成為第15集的亮點。
照片裡的畫面，就是齊老師試坐我們勝利的駕駛座，帶著我們回到回憶裡的光復新村跟煙台。有趣的是：她上車的之後，駕駛座的門就不再打開了，可見我們念舊的勝利跟我們一樣很愛齊老師。

That day in New Guangfu Village, Taichung, I decided to walk around with my microphone to see if I could capture the memories of this old abandoned community of Mainlanders. But most of the people had been moved out to pave the way for a construction project, and their houses stood empty. From a visual perspective, it's easy to imagine where people would have stored their winter blankets, and where they would have kept the family's beloved brazing pot in the kitchen. But if you close your eyes, all you can hear is the sound of someone sweeping fallen leaves, and the hollow sounds of your own footsteps walking through the empty rooms. Where are the sounds of the people? And where is the warmth that used to permeate this village?
After a while I heard the sounds of an old woman singing, and discovered Grandma Chi, who was originally from Yantai, in Shandong Province, China. It turns out that Grandma Chi is one of the few remaining guardians of this place and its memories. We'd originally planned to only interview her daughter, Ms. Fan, but together, the story of Guangfu New Village is complete.
Before we left, we asked if she'd like to take the car for a spin. While she no longer drives, the four of us enjoyed a nostalgic spin through days gone by, visiting the places she once lived, and her childhood in China. And our car Gloria loved her as much as we did, refusing to allow us to open the driver's side door to let her out. Later, it would take three mechanics an hour to pry the door from its hinges!
