Minister Joseph Wu addressed Washington think tank the Global Taiwan Institute, congratulating them on their third anniversary and their third annual conference. He touched on the strengthening of #US-#Taiwan ties and how Taiwan has made efforts to help those in need around the world, without those countries being left with debts. In the face of military threats and the pressure on Taiwan’s international participation, Minister Wu stated, “democratic Taiwan is David to authoritarian China’s Goliath. And like David, democracy will prevail, and Taiwan will prevail.”
