Steamed Cod with Keng Eng Kee Superior Soy Sauce — one of the dishes whipped out of the limited edition diy meal kit by @wholefish.sg in collaboration with @kengengkee .

The kit $80 comprises of :
1 x KEK Signature Nonya Sauce (100g)
1 x KEK Superior Soy Sauce (100g)
1 x Whole Red Grouper (500-600g)
2 x Cod Steak Cut (150-200g)
1 x Whole Seabass (500-600g)
1 x Chinese Herb Bag for Steamed Cod Recipe (Spring Onions, Coriander, Ginger)
1 x Assorted Vegetables for Steamed Grouper Recipe (Lady Fingers, Eggplant)

Every fish in this box has passed through 7 steps of selection process to ensure the freshest catch for customers. Indeed, this cod was super fresh without any smell and the sauce was a perfect pairing to bring out the sweetness of the meat. Can’t wait to try out other fishes too!

美劇及美國電影，絕對是文化方面影響我成長時最重要的一環
而美食，就是由細到大影響口味嘅另一環
因為喜歡音樂電影《Grease》，自小喜歡去美式diner吃東西
幾十年前在金鐘廊有間「美國餐廳」，媽媽經常帶我去食美式 all day breakfast
後來美式玩具店（玩具反斗城）、美式餐廳（出奇老鼠）直營店
在香港開設，我更是所有假期都在當中度過
美國牛扒、美國草莓、美國芝士都係由細食到大
美國食品予人最深的印象是：大大份，質素穩定，CP值高

所以當我去到 Delicious USA media tasting event 嘅時候
發現，咦？其實美國雞蛋、Alaska Salmon、Maine Lobster
都係成日會食㗎喎
美國車厘子、美國芝士、美國開心果、美國蘋果
你同我都會經常食！
今次Tasting，由美國駐香港及澳門總領事 Hanscom Smith 主持
餐廳 AnOther Place 將美國食品料理成為精緻的午餐
