在《小鬼當家2 Home Alone 2: Lost in New York》（1992）之中，與家人走散的凱文來到了廣場飯店，巧遇了當時擁有飯店的大亨唐納．川普（Donald Trump），當時觀眾看到這場戲多半會心一笑。但時隔28年後，已成總統的川普在卸任之前，卻有網友發動「取消運動」，要求把這場戲刪除，或者「換臉」。

原以為只是一個看來很荒誕的提議，隨著飾演凱文的麥考利．克金（Macaulay Culkin）本人表示迴響之後，這居然成了一個有點認真的議題。起先他先稱讚了一則抹除川普存在的貼文，後來又同意網友一項提議，即讓四十歲的自己替換川普的存在。

其實原來當時川普之所以能獲得客串機會，是因為劇組當時必須租借廣場飯店作為拍攝場地，而偏偏持有飯店的川普的出借條件包括讓他客串一角，導演克里斯．哥倫布（Chris Columbus）只好點頭。雖然他後來仍打算把這場戲剪掉，但由於觀眾反應良好，所以他決定予以保留。然而，金酸莓獎顯然對於這個編排感到不以為然，在當屆給了川普最爛新人與最爛男配角獎兩項提名。

話說，早在2019年加拿大廣播公司CBC在播映這部作品時，這場戲便已經遭到刪減。外界當時便有質疑聲浪，CBC卻辯駁他們在川普上任前的2014年就已經將這場戲刪除，原因是為了讓電影節奏更為流暢。

但現在請願者卻希望片方能將這場戲永久刪除，因為他們認為這部聖誕節大戲染上了「種族主義的污點」。許多網友認為效法《金錢世界 All the Money in the World》（2017）抹除凱文．史貝西（Kevin Spacey）的做法，除了換成麥考利．克金之外，換成新任總統拜登（Joe Biden）也不錯。

《華盛頓郵報》的專欄作家阿莉莎．羅森柏格（Alyssa Rosenberg）雖然立場以反川著稱，但她對此提出了強烈的警示，認為《小鬼當家2》的這段情節應當被視為一部歷史的記錄。她指出川普在當年可以被接受在一部耶誕電影中客串，說明了1992年的美國人覺得他有趣且無害，而彼時的美國人對川普的看法，是歷史的一部分，應當被保留下來。

挺川演員克里斯蒂．斯旺森（Kristy Swanson）則表態，身為約翰．休斯（John Hughes）的演員（約翰．休斯為《小鬼當家》系列編劇），如果川普被抹除，那她希望自己的演出也一併被抹除。結果她遭到了反川網友激烈的批評，演員珍．林奇酸回道：「抱歉。你是誰？」

Nếu như “Tây Du Ký” đã gắn liền với ký ức tuổi thơ mỗi dịp hè thì khó có ai không xem “Ở nhà một mình” mỗi dịp Giáng Sinh. Năm nay, bộ phim đã tròn 30 tuổi và đã được trang báo The Independent bầu vào vị trí thứ hai trong danh sách các bộ phim Giáng sinh kinh điển nhất mọi thời đại.
Trên tờ Time xuất bản năm 1990, nhà biên kịch quá cố John Hughes từng chia sẻ về ý tưởng khi ông viết kịch bản “Ở nhà một mình”: “Trước một chuyến du lịch, tôi lên danh sách những thứ không được để quên và tự nhủ rằng mình không được quên… các con. Rồi tôi tự hỏi, ‘Nếu mình để quên cậu con trai 10 tuổi ở nhà thì sao? Thằng bé sẽ làm gì nhỉ?’”.
Kết quả là Hughes lập tức triển khai ý tưởng và hoàn tất kịch bản đầu tiên chỉ trong vòng 9 ngày.
Nội dung phim xoay quanh cậu bé Kevin (do Macaulay Culkin thủ vai) bị gia đình bỏ quên trong một kỳ nghỉ và phải đương đầu với âm mưu đột nhập của hai tên trộm từ nhóm Wet Bandits là Harry (Joe Pesci) và Marv (Daniel Stern).
Đạo diễn Chris Columbus và 2 thành viên băng cướp từng không cho rằng bộ phim sẽ thành công về doanh thu. Thế nhưng thực tế hoàn toàn nằm ngoài dự tính. “Ở nhà một mình” thu về tới 476 triệu USD toàn cầu, nắm giữ kỷ lục phim hài người đóng (live-action) ăn khách nhất lịch sử cho đến khi bị “The Hangover Phần II” vượt qua vào năm 2011.

It was another thumbs down for Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Iverson was slowed by a zone defense before sitting the final 1 1/2 minutes with a sprained left thumb as the reeling 76ers absorbed their fifth loss in six games, a 93-87 setback to the Golden State Warriors.
Against a man-to-man defense in the first quarter, Iverson had 13 points. But he scored just 10 thereafter as the Warriors switched to a 1-2-2 zone at times and turned the NBA's leading scorer into a passer.
"Tonight we let a zone frustrate us and to be professionals and let a zone frustrate us is a bad thing," Iverson said. "We are supposed to learn how to handle zones; you learn about those in college."
"I didn't have us prepared for their zone very well," 76ers coach Larry Brown admitted. "We were very tentative against it and they made the plays."
With Iverson limited as a threat, Golden State rallied in the fourth quarter. A layup by Antawn Jamison off a block by Erick Dampier and a steal by Larry Hughes gave the Warriors an 87-83 lead with 1:33 to go.
"They couldn't get an open look from the perimeter," Hughes said. "They were flashing it in the paint and our big guys were handling it. We got a couple of defelctions, a couple of blocks and a couple of missed shots. It led to us getting pretty good looks at the other end."
The Sixers called timeout and Iverson was not on the floor when they returned. Aaron McKie made a jumper and steal, but former Warrior Vonteego Cummings was called for a charge and Dampier sealed it with two free throws with 38 seconds left.
"I need to get an X-ray but it's real banged up right now," said Iverson, who was 9-of-18 and had seven assists but took just four shots in the second half.
Hughes scored 22 points against his former team as Golden State snapped a four-game losing streak and defeated Philadelphia for the first time in seven meetings since January 15, 1997.
"I thought Larry was real solid," Warriors coach Dave Cowens said. "I think he took the challenge. He was guarding one of the best players in the league (Iverson). He matched him stroke for stroke and took care of the basketball and ran our club. He had a remarkable game tonight and I'm very happy for him."
Matt Harpring scored a season-high 25 points and Derrick Coleman added 14 for the Sixers, who dropped to 0-2 on their five-game road trip and 4-6 on the road. En route to the NBA Finals last season, their sixth road loss came on February 4.
"They came out in the fourth quarter and stopped us with their zone," said Harpring, who did not score in the final period. "We weren't hitting our outside shots and we got confused a little bit."
A 3-pointer by Chris Mills gave Golden State the lead for good at 71-70 with 10:49 to play. Hughes' driving layup extended the advantage to 80-75 with 5:53 remaining, but he missed two free throws between baskets by Coleman and Iverson that again made it a one-point game.
However, Iverson did not score again. Dampier and Danny Fortson scored around two free throws by Philadelphia's Dikembe Mutombo and Fortson fouled out Mutombo with 1:48 to play, making 1-of-2 from the line for an 85-83 edge.
Jamison scored 19 points, Dampier added 12 and six blocks and Fortson 11 and 15 rebounds for the Warriors, who overcame 39 percent shooting by making 27-of-36 free throws and holding a 49-33 edge on the glass.
"You have to play a good defensive game if win shooting 40 percent," Cowens said. "Part of that is we went to the line so often and it was just being aggressive, I believe."
"We needed Dampier's energy tonight," Fortson said. "That was a life-saver. We don't know what the score would have been tonight if Damp hadn't had blocked those shots."
Mutombo had 12 points and five blocks for the Sixers, who shot 49 percent (36-of-74) but committed 21 turnovers and made just 12-of-17 free throws. Guard Aaron McKie returned from missing two games with an irregular heartbeat and had seven points and 11 assists.
Philadelphia's team bus was in an accident en route to the game and arrived just 45 minutes before tip-off. Both Iverson and Harpring appeared unaffected as they combined for 21 points in the first quarter.

The New York Knicks, winners of just two of their first 11 games, are seriously contemplating signing Allen Iverson if he clears waivers Thursday evening.
"We are at a point where, 'Do we need an influx of something else?' " Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said. "It is always a fluid situation. It is fluid right now. We are just trying to determine what is the best for this organization and these players."
If the Knicks do decide to make an offer to Iverson, it would not happen until after this weekend's games, league sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.
This offseason, the Knicks chose not to try to sign Iverson, then a free agent. The Knicks believed Iverson would take too many minutes from starting point guard Chris Duhon and backups Nate Robinson and Toney Douglas. The Knicks also have been playing Larry Hughes in the backcourt.
The Knicks are basing all of their decisions on how they will affect their salary-cap room in preparation for the vaunted free-agent class of 2010, leading to criticism that they are throwing away this season. If they were to sign Iverson, it might be seen as evidence that they are trying to make something of this season.
Iverson, 34, signed with Memphis but agreed to part ways with the Grizzlies after just three games. He averaged 12.3 points per game, but was dissatisfied with coming off the bench.
The New York Daily News reported Thursday that the Miami Heat are also interested in signing Iverson. D'Antoni indicated that he would like to talk with Iverson before making any final decision.
"I don't think we are ready to say 'Yay' or 'Nay' yet," D'Antoni said.
Knicks president Donnie Walsh said he has talked with officials from around the league about Iverson to get a better read on what he could bring to Madison Square Garden. He has no timetable on making a decision.
"I'm not tweeting this," Walsh said.
Iverson is eligible to be signed by other teams if he clears waivers at 6 p.m. ET Thursday.
