[TAIPEI - N°168 Prime Steakhouse 牛排館 😌]
疫情影響不能堂食。我也跟很多朋友一樣，幾乎每天都有點不同餐廳的便當或外帶，以行動支持餐飲業。但不停看到洗板式的外帶和便當Po文，難免有點讓眼睛疲勞。 所以在期待6/15餐廳有希望重開的同時，也想分享之前堂食的記錄刺激一下眼球。
剛吃完FA Burger的外帶roast beef(有分享動態), 聯想起上個月來了這家半牛排館試它的weekend Prime Rib brunch。
從小就愛吃Prime Rib的我，由專門店如不同城市的Lawry’s，House of Prime Rib, 到Vegas 大小賭場很 rustic的Prime Rib buffet, 到各國酒店餐廳或steak house, 甚至在香港的老牌港式西餐廳新寧，只要餐廳有Prime Rib 這菜在菜單上，我都完全沒有抵抗力......必點!!
難得知道這餐廳當時有做Prime Rib推廣，怎麼可以不來試試看。
首先，對於像一個真正喜歡Prime Rib的人，我到餐廳是為了一塊漂亮的肉，所以我都是直接入直路只點Prime Rib，越大越厚越好。除了前菜一份簡單的salad外，其他菜式只是雜音而且會佔胃的空間所以通常不會點。 但可惜這𥚃在Prime Rib promotion 其間只供多道菜式的套餐。幾道前菜好不好吃不是重點, 這餐就像吃一般西餐一樣，牛排不太像主角。
也不知為什麼這次的牛肉帶有股bacon的味道。詢問了經理而回覆這味道的來源於用來烤肉的木所引致。但是木能帶出另外一種肉的味道也是我人生第一次碰到。
再來是主菜牛排只有像Lawry’s 的English cut。雖然有三片肉而且可以無限追加量不會不夠，但薄薄的肉完全沒有厚切應有的肉味，口感和快感。 我有要求能不能直接切一塊厚一點的給我省卻我不停追加但被拒絕。到追加第三次時，經理終於切一片稍為厚一點的但比我喜歡的thick cut 還是有一段距離。
我以前也來吃過幾次，其實牛排和其他菜式的水準都不過不失。 所以相信有機會再來也不會選擇在Prime Rib Promotion 日子了。
