Istana Leban Tunggal di Pekan Bandar DiRaja semakin usang... Sayangnya sebuah istana yang pernah gah suatu masa dulu dan cantik serta unik senibinanya kini terbiar tak terjaga... Semoga pihak2 yg bertanggungjawab dapat membaikpulih semula Istana Leban Tunggal ini utk kekal menjadi bangunan bersejarah utk tatapan generasi akan datang...

Istana Leban Tunggal adalah istana milik Almarhum Tengku Besar Sulaiman ibni Almarhum Sultan Ahmad Al-Mu’azzam Shah, Tengku Besar Pahang II. Istana ini terletak di Jalan Tengku Besar Sulaiman, Kampung Parit Tengah, Pekan.

Istana ini mula dibina pada bulan Mei 1935 dan siap sepenuhnya di dalam tahun 1937 / 1938. Kos untuk membina istana ini pada waktu itu adalah berjumlah kira-kira $16,000.00. Istana Leban Tunggal bukan sahaja indah pada namanya, malah unik pada rekabentuknya. Bangunan ini dibina daripada kayu-kayan, batu-bata dan konkrit. Bercirikan unsur-unsur kemelayuan dan sedikit pengaruh istana pada zaman dahulu.

Almarhum Tengku Besar Sulaiman mendiami istana ini sehingga ke akhir hayat Almarhum. Selepas kemangkatan Almarhum Tengku Besar Sulaiman di dalam tahun 1962, istana ini didiami oleh waris-waris Almarhum. Istana ini kemudiannya dijadikan sebagai Perpustakaan Daerah Pekan, sekitar awal 1990-an sehingga bulan Mac 2011. Istana Leban Tunggal kemudiannya diserahkan di bawah Jabatan Warisan Negara.

Malangnya kini, Istana Leban Tunggal terbiar dan semakin usang tanpa sebarang penjagaan dan pemuliharaan. Adalah menjadi suatu kerugian yang amat besar kepada penduduk daerah Pekan, khususnya; sebuah istana yang begitu cantik dan unik rekabentuknya, yang pernah menyimpan 1001 sejarah dan begitu gah di zaman kegemilangannya serta menjadi bangunan warisan di dalam daerah Pekan terbiar begitu sahaja dan tidak mendapat penjagaan yang sewajarnya dari pihak yang berkenaan.

Single Leban Palace in Royal City Town is getting older... Unfortunately a palace that once was once upon a time and is beautiful and unique and the architecture is now abandoned... Hopefully the responsible parties can restore this Single Leban Palace to remain a historic building for The gaze of the next generation...

Single Leban Palace is the palace of the late Tengku Besar Sulaiman ibni Late Sultan Ahmad Al-Mu ' azzam Shah, Tengku Besar Pahang II This castle is located in Jalan Tengku Besar Sulaiman, Kampung Parit Tengah

The castle began to be built in May 1935 and fully completed in 1937 / 1938. The cost of building this castle at the time was about $ 16,000.00. Single Leban Castle not only beautiful in its name, instead Unique on its design. This building was built from wood, bricks and concrete. Featured elements of malayness and some castle influence in the old days.

The late Tengku Besar Sulaiman lived in this palace until the end of the late life. After the death of late Tengku Besar Sulaiman in 1962, the castle was inhabited by the deceased's heirs. The Palace was later served as the District Library of Pekan, around the early 1990 s until March 2011. The Single Leban Palace was submitted under the National Heritage Department.

Unfortunately now, the Single Leban Palace is abandoned and getting older without any care and conservation. It was a huge loss to the residents of Pekan district, especially; a palace that was such a beautiful and unique design, which had kept 1001 history and was so in its glory and became a heritage building in abandoned town district just like that and did not get any Proper care from the relevant parties.

"Baandam Museum" was founded by an artist called "Thawan Duchanee". He is one of the Thai painters who have made their names in the internatioal art world. This museum covers an area of 100 rai and houses a large variety of folk arts, past and present. It includes nearly 40 small black houses made of wood, glass, concrete, bricks, or terracotta in various unique styles and design scattered around the area. Here, we can see Thawan's collections of paitings, sculptures, animal bones, skins, horns, silver, gold and many unique items from all around the world.

清邁「黑屋」是一個藝術家所創立的，裡面的東西都是以黑色為主題，這兒的屋子都很有特色，裡面是該藝術家所蒐集及他自己的作品，大量運用木頭及牛骨來做雕刻，還可看見整張鱷魚皮，真是令人印象深刻!

這幾天欣賞了不少廟宇，此時來參觀個人收藏博物館，轉換一下心情，也很棒!

Primitive Technology with Survival Skills Ancient Bricks is our next video. In this video we made ancient bricks. Initially we used the primitive technology for wood for brick molding, then we mixed the mixture (concrete) including lime, sand, clay. Then we put in the mold to create ancient bricks. That is the premise for us to do bigger projects. In each area there is a different way of doing ancient bricks. The brick Roman Empire is made of shell, coral, small rock, volcanic ash and sea water. In some areas, sticky rice is mixed with sand to make ancient bricks.
