People always ask me how do I find balance.
Spoiler alert - Don’t yourself up for failure trying to achieve 50/50 balance. There will be times when there’s more work and there will be times when there’s more play. It all depends on the day, the month or even the sales cycle.
Find the balance that works for you.
Even though we are all stuck at home right now, I’m working more than I’m playing with my children. And that’s the truth.
Do I get #momguilt?
Constantly. I keep telling myself, “tomorrow I’ll stop at 5” or “let me just get this done, I won’t have as much work tomorrow.” That’s just part of being a working mom.
I’m glad that I have #momguilt to remind myself that I can strive for better - better system, better team management, being a better parent.
After more than 10 years of owning my own business and having babies....I know it will get better. I know this is just a hard week.
