第八屆泰國國際烏克麗麗線上比賽來了🤩🤩🤩

無論你是哪一種音樂及表演風格表現烏克麗麗，我們歡迎邀請你/妳參與這一項國際比賽，與全世界的烏克麗麗玩家一同較勁，就有機會變全世屆成烏克麗麗全世界冠軍喔！！

獎項分別為冠軍、亞軍及季軍外，另外包括: 最佳樂器表演, 最佳歌手, 最佳表演者, 以及最受歡迎獎.
參加資格只要簡單三個步驟就可以完成線上參賽喔，步驟如下：

1.🔥即日起至4/30，上傳你/妳的表演影片到Youtube，標題並打上“8th Thailand International Ukulele Contest 2020 ＿＿＿＿（你的英文名字/曲名）”
‼️＊表演形式：獨奏、彈唱、團體合奏、團體合唱即可！
‼️注意：影片必須無任何剪輯，音色無掛任何果器，以現場拍攝收音！

2.🔥上傳完成後，複製連結並以e-mail方式寄到“asaloha@ribbee.com”信箱中，郵件裡請簡單介紹你/妳們喔！

3.🔥最後，我們會把所有參賽者的影片一律發佈到Thailand Ukulele Tournament的粉絲專頁上，按讚數最高的影片則會是最受歡迎獎！

8th Thailand International Ukulele Contest Online!
All ukulele players in the world are invited. Join us in our 8th Thailand International Ukulele Contest and get a chance to become the Ukulele Champion of the World!

No matter what your style is like, all contestants will enter the same competition. There will be 3 prizes: Winners, and 1st and 2nd runner up. Also there are 3 special recognition prizes which are: Best Instrumental Player, Best Sing and Play Player and Most Popular Player.

The contest will be done entirely online, so we hope international players can participate. Just easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Upload a video clip of your performance to YouTube with the title 8th Thailand International Ukulele Contest 2020 (your name). “NO EDITING”

2. Send your video clip’s link to asaloha@ribbee.com by April 30th, 2020. Don’t forget to tell us something about yourself.

3. All video clips will be posted on our Facebook Page. The most Popular Prize will be based on the number of Likes.

Results will be announced on May 10th, 2020.

[ 第一屆 環太平洋烏克音樂節 ]

2016年4月23日 在台灣高雄 國立科學工藝博物館

它演奏著海洋的音樂，它來自夏威夷，它可能是把傳統與現代同時演繹得最漂亮的一種民俗樂器，它仍然扮演Keali'i Reichel手上、Hula舞者身後溫柔的伴奏，也能走上流行舞台，與Jake Shimabukuro一起搖滾，是的，它是烏克麗麗。

從2013年開始參與各國的烏克音樂節，我們聽見了夏威夷、日本、泰國、韓國、菲律賓、馬來西亞、中國等地的烏克好手融合各地獨特個性發展出的精彩音樂，深受感動，夢想在台灣重現一個這樣獨特的舞台，讓在這塊土地上的音樂與更多養分融合，進而深耕發展。

烏克麗麗可以是孩子的玩具，也可以是陪伴音樂人一生的夥伴，音樂的自由和可能大於我們的想像，但環境的培養則是無比踏實的過程，讓表演者有舞台、讓觀眾理解與欣賞、讓新手走在對的路徑、讓專業樂手有管道分享，台灣將會有越來越成熟與穩固的藝術環境，這是需要許多人一起推進的大夢，而我們樂於成為其中一個力量微小的傻子。

1st Pacific Rim Ukulele Festival
Taroko Park Kaohsiung, Taiwan

It plays the rhythm of ocean, it comes from Hawaii, it may be the best instrument which make success in traditional as well as in rock stages. It is ukulele.

We took our steps abroad since 2013. During the days in Thailand, Hawaii and Japan's international ukulele festivals, we met many musicians all around the world, experiencing huge diversity and abundance of ukulele music, and touched by the possibilities that people and ukulele can do. That was the first step of PRUF. We dream to make a stage belong to Taiwan, in where we can communicate to the world and know who we are.

Ukuleles are often considered to be children's toys, yet they could be lifelong partners of music players. We can't image how vest we could explore in the world of music,making a healthier environment for music workers would be a closer question to all of us. Professional stages for performers, sufficient introductions for audience and correct directions for students, these may be the answers for Taiwan's music industry, and we want to do something for them. It will take a long time to make the environment better, however, if we start, then it won't be too late.

Eden Kai, 16 year-old acoustic guitarist virtuoso singer-songwriter, performed original instrumental songs on acoustic guitar at the 50th State Fair at the Aloha Stadium in Hawaii on July 4th Independence Day weekend celebration 2015. It was Brown Bags to Stardom Day showcasing the winners of the prestigious statewide competition.

Eden Kai was this year's 2015 Grand Champion and also 1st place Music Instrumental. This acoustic guitar player gave an amazing live performance. This is the same competition which launched the careers of Bruno Mars, Jake Shimabukuro, Tia Carrere, Glenn Medeiros, Yuna Ito, and many other stars from Hawaii.

Special thanks to Brown Bags to Stardom executive producer Johnny Kai for his excellent service and work in continuing this amazing talent competition which has been a household name in Hawaii since the 1970's, long before American Idol and America's Got Talent! Johnny also does a great job interviewing Eden Kai after this performance.

This video starts with some people in the audience shouting "Hana hou! Hana hou!" which means "Encore! Encore!" in Hawaiian. For the encore Eden played his original acoustic instrumental song "She Saw Me Dance" regarded by many to be his best acoustic guitar instrumental song.

Enjoy this video showing a glimpse of an upcoming rising star. Eden Kai has appeared and performed on most all major TV and Radio media in Hawaii as well as in Japan. He has played at popular venues in Waikiki including the Hard Rock Cafe, Duke's Waikiki, and Lulu's.

He has already been receiving great recognition and praise in Asia, and was recently interviewed and performed live on FM FUJI TOKYO one of the biggest radio stations of all time in Japan in a joint broadcast with KZOO Honolulu to over 3 million listeners in Japan.

Eden Kai was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Hawaii two years ago. He is trilingual in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
In Japan he was known in his childhood as a gifted singer-songwriter-actor. He started playing the guitar 3 years ago while his voice was changing, and the last two years he has been teaching himself through watching YouTube videos and developing his own unique style.

Eden also loves learning from watching videos of the best ukulele players in the world and their beautiful ukulele songs . He really enjoys the playing the world's best ukulele player of all time of the best Japanese ukulele players ever to cherish these Hawaiian ukuleles and give their best live performance of Hawaiian songs ever.

Eden has acted in TV movies and dramas in Japan since he was 6 years old. He has also been dancing, singing and writing songs since he was 6. He debuted writing and singing a song for charity at the age of 10 "Sekai no Tomodachi" (Friends of the World in Japanese) selling on iTunes, Amazon, etc.
