And then u think, why aren't they in Aust eating as many local Lobsters 🦞. Which are mostly exported to China, or served in Chinese restaurants. But now we are getting a fair share of it in Hong Kong too, due to the China exportation boycott. Australian Lobsters are actually 1 of the best in the world u can find ❤️❤️🌎😋

Closest thing to Japan 🇯🇵 I’ve had in a while. What was just a 4.5 hour flight away now seems unthinkable. Good thing we have restaurants like @sushiyoshihk and chefs like Hiroshi-san to remind us of the amazing food, culture, and ingredients Japan has to offer.

So my friend Matt vs Japan is one of the best non-native speakers of Japanese in the United States. He has been perfecting his Japanese to fluency over years of total immersion into Japanese media, and his Japanese is at the point where Japanese people in the video games he plays are regularly shocked when he tells them he’s actually American, not Japanese. Recently I got a chance to hang out with Matt in New York City, where I took Matt around to some Japanese supermarkets and restaurants so we could put his Japanese to the test in the real world. And, hopefully, teach me a bit of Japanese as well. Remember to check out Matt’s YouTube channel for Part 2 of this video!

How are sushi restaurants in Singapore and Japan different? I've created mini skits to demonstrate the differences starting from entering the restaurant and paying the bill. Just a short disclaimer, I have no intentions of making fun of different pronunciations of Japanese words. Heck, I myself pronounce a lot of English and Mandarin incorrectly too. But I do feel it sounds kind of cute.
