说好不要硬闯禁区、要和平集会，所以净选盟，早有安排自己的维安部队，安保志工。
他们穿着紫色的维安制服，颜色跟黄衫军，形成强烈对比，维安人员，主动在警察设定的封锁线前面10米的地方，筑起人墙，阻挡集会者，继续前进，到此为止就好。
集会者也相当配合和自律，也看到不少穿着黃衣的参与者，不但没有擅自突破净选盟设立的防线，反而还互相呼吁，并加入紫衣人，当起了安保志工，大家都希望能夠和平地，完成这次的集会。
