When Joreen was about 2 yo, she suddenly does not wants to eat carbohydrate. And she loves cheese. Hence mama came out with this dish that incorporate noodle in the pancake.
And hit the jackpot! hehe this dish became one of her fav till now!

𝑰𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔
Japanese noodle (from dondondonki) [can be any types of noodles, mee sua/ Ee mee]
1 egg (beaten)
Carrot
Brocolli
Sliced chicken leg (can be any types of meat) [marinate with Lilo Premium Ikan Bilis Powder powder, mix herbs, McCormick minced onions & garlic powder]
Unsalted butter
Bega Cheese
𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒔
1. Boil noodle for 2-3min or until is soften. Drain and put aside.
2. Heat up some butter in a non stick wok on high heat. Add marinated chicken carrot and brocolli in. Stir fried till cook. Put aside.
3. Mix noodle in the beaten egg and pour the mixture in the wok.
4. Then immediately top it with the cooked chicken and veges. Add lots of cheese to cover the topping.
5. Flip the pancake over to cook until golden brown.

Braised Yee Mee Recipe ❤️

Mama just cook with whatever left in the fridge. Could not go out to get the preferred ingredients as the queue to go in the mall is shocking, not to mention the queue to pay in the supermarket is equally bad😞

Sharing my humble recipe:
Portion for 2 adults & 1 kid
1. Heat up some oil in a wok on high heat. Stir in garlic and fry till fragrant.
Add the prawn (preferred to use large prawn with head) and stir awhile then set it aside. Next stir in 2 eggs till fragrant.

2. Mix in water (or any stock of your preference, mama did not prepared any homemade ikan bilis stock as the Lilo Premium Ikan Bilis Powder is good enough).
Add in carrot, cabbage and seasonings (Lilo Premium Ikan Bilis Powder & Lilo White Bait powder, Lee Kum Lee oyster sause, light soy sauce, sesame oil). Bring to boil.

3. Add 2 block yee mee noodle and remaining ingredients (fishball, sausage) and simmer it.

4. Check seasoning (add salt to taste) and is the noodle soft enough. Then add some corn starch and a egg. Stir it.

5. Dish up and serve! Enjoy~

Can omit light soy sauce, oyster sause & salt if cooking for younger kids. Joreen is almost 4 yo now so she eats what we eat.
