10 years and 18 Marvel movies later, this is it. The biggest crossover event in history and boy, was it intense. It sucked every ounce of emotion out of me, and yet that ending still left me craving for more.
All of the characters play off each other brilliantly (and funnily too) - Iron Man vs Doctor Strange, the pop culture referencing Star-Lord & Spider-Man and Thor's & Rocket Raccoon's buddy adventure. But the star has to be Thanos. He is one compelling villain, because he wants to save the universe by destroying half of it. So it's not your usual one-dimensional world domination kind of evil and clearly, he is capable of emoting as well.
You will come out of Infinity War feeling that you have only seen half a movie. I did. But the emotional ride was phenomenal and sure left me desperate for more when Avengers 4 lands next year. I can't wait to see what happens next.
P S. There is only ONE post-credt scene so sit right until the very end of the credits. It's a great teaser for next year's movie(s).
P.P.S. Ash couldn't come along because he has an exam paper today. Which means I get to see it again! 😁
