🌻#夏至 (Summer solstice) / (Estival solstice)
The summer solstice marks the official start of summer. It brings the longest day and shortest night of the year for the 88 percent of Earth’s people who live in the Northern Hemisphere.
〈夏至象徵著夏季的開始。它為地球上88％的北半球人民帶來了一年中最長的白天和最短的夜晚。〉
🍁#秋分 (Autumnal Equinox) / (Fall equinox)
Equinoxes are opposite on either side of the equator, so the autumnal (fall) equinox in the Northern Hemisphere is the spring (vernal) equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
〈赤道兩側的晝夜平分點相反，因此北半球的秋分是南半球的春分晝夜平分點。〉
❄#冬至 (Winter solstice) / (Hibernal solstice)
The winter solstice occurs in December and in the Northern Hemisphere the date marks the 24-hour period with the fewest daylight hours of the year, which is why it is known as the shortest day and longest night.
