Astro Star Quest (ASQ) 新秀大赛 2015 returns for the 19th year to continue to fulfill young Malaysians’ dream and passion for music. For the first time this year, the competition has extended the age limit until 28 years old besides the usual requirements such as being good at singing, dancing, and having on stage charisma to compete with other Malaysians.
In addition, a panel of notable and highly influential personalities in the Chinese music industry from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia will reprise their role as the judges and train the pool of contestants throughout the competition until the top five finalists. With a custom made song for each finalist, the top 5 will be given a first-hand mentorship to a successful music career and shot to stardom.
