I'll the take the sea anytime over a swimming pool. Believe it or not it's my first time swimming in one that CLEAR AND BLUE!
You know that feeling how you see "travel destinations" that features crystal clear waters but in reality it's dirty and polluted due to tourists, I can say that this beach in #Yamaguchi prefecture is one of the cleanest I've ever seen in Japan.

More of an impromptu visit though, the danna has never been to the beach before so I'm glad that I'm the one driving, then I can stop anywhere I want 😂 at least we got something checked off our #bucketlist this trip.

Never thought it's possible, but that's just a mindset, when I first set eyes on this place in an article 2 years ago, seems like mission impossible to come all the way here (which is without a car), being away from the city for 2 days is rather therapeutic, minimal internet connection 😅

Over here the sea is so blue that it matches the sky perfectly, good place to retire to because I don't think I'll get bored of this view 🙏❤ #blessed .

Initially we thought we couldn't make it since we book from Kyoto station yesterday (try luck) because seats were full from Osaka, but we manage to grab seats from Okayama instead 😂 especially now summer holidays are ongoing and hello kitty fans from all over the world are not missing this opportunity to ride the bullet train! 🚅 It's covered under JR passes (Kodama 741) but for non reserve seats. Heading to Yamaguchi prefecture now!
