The new hotpot specialist in town offers healthy, home-cooked Cantonese-styled hotpot soup bases (a mix of local flavors and unique combinations) with plenty of premium, fresh hotpot ingredients. The setting is stylishly modern… dressed in shades of white with casual, comfortable seating. The place is fully air-conditioned and offers a great atmosphere for a gathering over hotpot. There are 3 individual VIP rooms- 1 with in-house karaoke system (min spending of RM800) and 2 rooms without (min spending of RM500).
Apart from hotpot, the restaurant also rolls out its lunch menu, which consists of Pork Soup Yam Rice, Poached Spring Chicken, Black Vinegar Pork Trotter, Stir Fried Clams with Ginger and Scallions, Stir Fried Water Spinach and Stir Fried Romaine. Two years ago, I would never have imagined myself being so much into fitness. Being in this industry is eye opening and life changing. Because I’ve started being more conscious about how I look and how well I’m able to perform, I’ve given up on many sweet stuff I used to not be able to resist (my KOI milk tea intake was CRAZY.) But ever since, my body started becoming less reliant on sugar, I don’t crave sweet treats to function and I’m liking this healthy change!

Of course, I don’t, and won’t, cut off all unhealthy food in my life (I’m munching on deep fried pork belly as I’m typing this) coz I enjoy them way too much. Who can live on avocado and eggs all day?! 😅 But I try to compensate for this by moving more to let those extra calories out. Work hard to eat hard, so they say. But for me it’s always been the other way around. Eat what I like, then make my workout worth the while.

In all honesty, I think I have a long way to go before I even belong to the “look good on screen” category 😂 But that’s ok, as long as I’m healthier today than I was yesterday! 【Ingredients】baking paper(φ6cmH4cm)Makes about 4 steamed cakes
1 Egg(50 g w/o shell)
1 Egg yolk 卵黄 1個
40-50g Cane sugar( Granulated sugar)
70g Soy milk(or Milk)
20g Neutral-flavored oil (vegetable, rice bran, canola, etc)
Vanilla extract
100g Cake flour(or plain flour)
6g Baking powder
【Directions】
①Line the base and sides of a cake tin with baking paper.
②Put eggs in a bowl.
Beat in Eggs, and mix well.
③Add cane sugar,Soy milk,Vanilla extract, mix well.
④Add the Oil (little by little)and mix well with a whisk for 1 mins until combined.
⑤Add flour,baking powder and mix it until powderiness disappears.
⑥Heat the pot with enough water to steam for 12 minutes.
⑦Pour the cake mixture into the prepared cake tin.
⑧Carefully place the cake tin.
into the pot, cover with lid and cook for 12 minutes OR until cooked through.
*Note: I recommend to wrap the lid with tea towel or large cloth, so that water won’t drip onto the cake.

【材料】ベーキングカップ(φ6cmH4cm)この大きさで4個できます
全卵(L) 1個(殻なし 50g)
卵黄 1個
きび糖(or グラニュー糖) 40-50g
豆乳(or 牛乳) 70g
米油(or 菜種油、キャノーラ油など) 20g
バニラオイル
薄力粉 100g
ベーキングパウダー 6g
【作り方】
①耐熱容器にグラシンを敷きこむ。
***同じような大きさの陶器やプリンカップなどでも。
グラシンがないときは13cm角くらいにカットしたクッキングシートを敷きこんでも同様に出来ます。
②ボウルに卵を入れ、泡立て器でよくたたいて混ぜる。
③きび砂糖、豆乳、バニラオイルを加えてよく混ぜる。
***バニラオイルはあれば加えて下さい、香り良く蒸しあがります。
④油を少しずつ加え、泡立て器で1分ほど混ぜ合わせる。
***しっかりと混ぜて乳化させます。
⑤薄力粉、ベーキングパウダーをふるって加え、粉っぽさがなくなるまで混ぜる。
⑥鍋に12分間蒸すのに十分な水を入れて沸騰させる。
⑦①のカップに生地を注ぎ入れる。
⑧生地を入れ終えたら、沸騰した鍋を一旦止めて、生地を入れた型を並べ、蓋をして12分火が通るまで加熱する。(中火より少しだけ弱火にする)
***生地の上に水滴が直接落ちないように、ふたを大きな布で包みましょう。
***鍋の底には、布巾を敷くと容器がカタカタと動かずにまた火のあたりも和らげてくれます。
●冷めたらラップをして乾燥しないようにしましょう。
●温め直しはラップごとほんの少しだけ加熱します。
(温め直し後はすぐに食べましょう、また温めすぎると固くなりますので注意します)

Sukiyaki = 壽喜燒 = 鋤燒 = 日式火煱 係日本好普遍嘅料理。同港式打邊爐差唔多!但風味同口味特別。個汁料(湯底)入口甜甜的。所材料吸左啲汁後好好味。大家可以試試。
寿喜烧, 又名“锄烧”。是一种日本料理,是一种以少量酱汁烹煮食材的火锅,通常食材包括高级的牛肉切片(例如:霜降牛肉)、大葱、莴苣、豆腐、魔芋丝等,这些食材会在由酱油、糖与味醂等混合的汤汁中煮制,并蘸生鸡蛋食用。
寿喜烧一般被视为一种冬季食品,常在忘年会上食用。
