外交部吳部長也在天燈上留下文字：
「現在是聯合國系統向台灣敞開大門的時候了——為所有人建立一個更具可持續性和韌性的環境。請加入我，讓台灣被聽到。」

Speak up for #Taiwan!
To mark the kick-off of the 76th United Nations General Assembly at the UN’s #NewYork headquarters, our New York office has set up the GiveTaiwanAVoice.com website so that you can speak up for Taiwan on a virtual #SkyLantern.
The website espouses the idea that #TheWorldSoarsWhenWeAllListen, echoing this year’s #UNGA76 theme of #BuildingResilienceThroughHope, and we hope that all these sky lanterns will soar in support of Taiwan’s inclusion in the UN systems, mechanisms, and events.
MOFA Minister Joseph Wu has already penned his own virtual sky lantern, which reads:
“It’s time the UN system opened its doors to Taiwan--to build a more sustainable and resilient future for all. Please join me and let Taiwan be heard.”
