How to better connect with customers & drive spending?
Through understanding both their inborn motives & learned behavior.
Recently I've been working on a big project with one of my major clients to drive increased spending in retail customers, especially VIPs. What's wrong with the current data analytics?
They only consider observed behavior without going deeper into the inborn motives
However, through applying the Peak Performance mindPowers that I have spent the past 8 years developing, we were able to achieve significant breakthrough in customer discovery! Here are the 9 key mindPowers you can use :)
mP1 Integrity
mP2 Compassion
mP3 Achievement
mP4 Touch
mP5 Truth
mP6 Trust
mP7 Optimism
mP8 Valor
mP9 Harmony

Without aspiration, money has no meaning.
I've been working closely on a project with the Chinese VIP market in recent weeks. Talking to these super-rich VIPs and their next generations, I realize that it's not just about being rich and liking the expensive stuff for the sake of them being expensive.
It's about the appreciation of lifestyle and pursuit of excellence.
That's something I believe can make our lives better. An appreciation of manners, music, sport, culture and pursuing excellence in all aspects of our lives - not just earning the most amounts of money.

WEEKLY CONVERSATIONS WITH ANNIE
Change is not romantic. It takes a lot of courage and perseverance to push forth with change. Would like to share my 5 ways on how we can think about change:
1. Is the change solving a problem?
2. What should be changed, what should NOT be changed? Don't change for the sake of changing.
3. Be tactful in communicating change to your stakeholders, because people have a natural resistance against change.
4. Hope for the best & prepare for the worse. What if it doesn't work? Back up plans? Be prepared with financial, mental and physical resources to cope with possible failure. Know when to let go & when to hold on.
5. No matter the outcome, learn from it. There is much to gain from successes, but even more to learn from failures. What went wrong?
I've also found that having a release is very helpful in helping you hold on to your beliefs. This could be sports, meditation or a spiritual release.
Do share with me any thoughts you have about driving change :) Would love to get a conversation going!
