Ramadhan Word Of The Day 1️⃣1️⃣ فطرة
FITRA (HUMAN NATURE)
According to the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): "Every child is born in a state of pure innocence (fitra); it is the parents then who would make him to become a Jew or a Christian or a Pagan." Fitra is the natural belief in God that all mankind is born with. Just as a child’s body submits to the laws of nature, their soul will submit to the Fitra of Allah. It is up to them as they grow up to hold on to their Fitra.

RAMADHAN FUN FACTS - DAY 1️⃣1️⃣
Did you know that women spend twice as long in the kitchen during Ramadhan? Though it’s good to be feeding people in Ramadhan, it doesn’t mean that you have to spend your whole day in the kitchen cooking. This holy month isn’t a festival of food anyway! Balance your Ramadhan by spending less time in the kitchen and more time in Ibadah!

Learn the intention for fasting

The intention for fasting is an affirmation that we are fasting in Ramadhan for Allah. We need to make the intention for fasting before Salat Al Fajr so we can fast the following day.

‎وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
I intend to keep the fast tomorrow in the month of Ramadhan

Marhaban Ya Ramadhan! We are so blessed to be able to see this month again. May this month of forgiveness be filled with happiness! May God shine mercy on our sins and grant all our wishes. May our families be kept in the protection of God, but most of all, may the month be filled with joy and God’s blessings! And of course, may God accept our fasts, prayers and all of our good deeds. Ramadhan Mubarak!

Also, let’s not forget, when we are in the comfort of our homes, our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Syria and some part of the world are suffering. May God ease their pain and end all conflict. May peace be restored and may this holy month of Ramadhan see the end of their sufferings. Ameen ?
