"Hypnotize" is a single by American rapper The Notorious B.I.G. featuring vocals by Pamela Long, released as the first single from his album Life After Death on March 1, 1997. The last song released before he was killed in a drive-by shooting a week later, it was the fifth song by a credited artist to hit number one posthumously. Rolling Stone ranked the song as #30 on their list of 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time.
P. Diddy (known then as Puff Daddy) produced "Hypnotize" and sampled the beat from Herb Alpert's 1979 hit "Rise" which was written by Andy Armer and Herb's nephew, Randy "Badazz" Alpert.

Eminem 本名為Marshall Bruce Mathers III，生於1972年的10月17日。
Rap God、Greatest Rapper Of All Time、奧斯卡獎得主、無數音樂獎項加冕……要細數Eminem的音樂成就似乎是一項不切實際的任務。
綜覽Eminem的音樂生涯，最令人感動的就是我們可以從中真切地感受到Eminem的生活經歷以及軌跡，尤其是近三年的專輯中收錄了許多真情流露的歌曲；像是寫給前妻、媽媽還有之前D12團員的歌等等。對於Eminem的長期聽眾而言，這些單曲並不只是好聽或是技巧一流而已，它們更像是Eminem親自的告白；對於他人生不同階段所發生的事件給出的解釋。
當然，Eminem的取材也不全來自於他的生活(真的是的話…我們Em應該早就被判死了…)。但是他的作品普遍都有幾個共通點：總會有設計精妙的word play、punchline、Flow且Rhyme Scheme非常複雜但又十分工整、無論是批判或是描寫也都十分到位；再加上辨識度不低的聲線。
這也是為什麼無論是Trap或是Old School的年代，Eminem總是屹立不搖的原因。不管Boom Bap還是808；Slim Shady or Eminem，He is the RAP GOD, NO CAP!!
