PART 3️⃣ of 3️⃣ Today, Fatimah and Ali are going to review one of their favourite books! It’s called Malala’s Magic Pencil, by Malala Yousafzai. You must have heard her name! She was the youngest-ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, and became the youngest-ever UN Messenger of Peace, with a special focus on girls’ education.

This book is the true story of one girl’s wish for a better world! It’s about Malala’s childhood and how she spoke out to the world when girls in her valley (Swat Valley in northwest Pakistan) were forbidden from going to school. She tells the story of how the Taliban tried to harm her, but she miraculously survived. Today, she speaks for all those children who are less fortunate with a special focus on the importance of education for all and fights for a peaceful world! The book is really inspiring and highly recommended - perfect for a family read!

Fatimah really adores @Malala! She has read the book so many times - every day and every night. She has memorised almost all of the book! Her favourite part was the quote from Malala: “One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world."
