I was just showing my student how to play relaxed left hand fills then soloing over this chord progressions. This was just another Berklee private guitar lesson at Room 418. ( I taught so many people!!)

Cái bài Stay nổi đình nổi đám giữa sự hợp tác giữa hai nghệ sĩ – 1 trẻ và 1 lớn. The Kid Laroi đến từ Australia (Úc) và Justin Bieber (Canada). TKL mới khoảng 18 tuổi (Sinh ngày 17/08/2003) – nổi lên sau sự nâng đỡ của Juice Wrld. Cả hai đều nổi danh từ hệ thống stream âm nhạc Soundcloud. Câu chuyện nghe quen không nhỉ? Hẳn các bạn còn nhớ clip Justin Bieber đánh cái đàn guitar ngoài đường trước khi lọt vào mắt xanh của Usher chứ.
Stay mang cho người nghe một sự hoài niệm của Pop hồi xưa và JB thực sự đã khiến cả thế giới biết nhiều hơn và The Kid Laroi. Từ tiêu đề đến lyrics tiệm cận khá dễ dàng với Gen Z hiện tại khi nhắm thẳng tới chủ đề tình yêu couple. Ok không nói về âm nhạc nữa, thời trang nói trắng ra style của hai nghệ sĩ trong “Stay” chẳng có gì nổi bật cả. Bình thường như cân đường hộp sữa – vì như mình nói, nội dung của “Stay” nhắm tới lượng người nghe trẻ nên cái phong cách ăn mặc trong MV dễ dàng liên tưởng với 1 thanh niên teen, hoặc lớn hơn 1 chút. Không có gì nổi trội.
À, thế thì mình phải kể cho các bạn nghe về 1 sản phẩm âm nhạc cũng tương tự vậy.
Cách đây tròn 10 năm (Stay ra vào 9/7/2021) thì Next to you (17/06/2011) là 1 sản phẩm âm nhạc giữa Chris Brown và Justin Bieber. Vai trò của JB và The Kid Laroi đảo ngược lại với “Next to you” khi khoảng thời gian đó Chris Brown đang trong thời kì hoàng kim của mình, còn Justin Bieber là 1 nghệ sĩ mới nổi trong khoảng 1 năm. C.B collab với J.B, chắp cánh như cách mà J.B chắp cánh cho The Kid Laroi hiện tại. Nội dung hai bài cũng kha khá giống nhau về tình yêu. Nhưng cách thể hiện thì Next to you trưởng thành hơn 1 tí (Từ teen lên khoảng sinh viên đại học 😊) ).
Còn về thời trang thì sao, xin lỗi các bạn chứ Next to You của Chris Brown và JB hơn hẳn Stay 10 phần. Next to You là 1 trong những MV mình thấy thời trang của Chris Brown là đỉnh nhất và tiệm cận với cách chúng ta đang ăn mặc theo khái niệm “HighFashion” tại thời điểm hiện tại. Cũng nhắc khéo là MV đó đã ra mắt cách đây 10 năm rồi.
Trong MV “Next to you” có thể thấy cái sự thời trang hơn hẳn “Stay” khi mà yếu tố đầu tiên đó là Detail/Chi tiết. Các sản phẩm như long-coat, leather jacket kiểu biker, denim jack từ chất liệu đến những điểm mang tính “Thiết kế” như đường cắt, zip – các phụ kiện đi kèm (Chain, long scarf) cùng boots rõ ràng tạo cảm giác “Thời trang” hơn chỉ quần jeans, sweater, hoodie đúng không các bạn nhỏ.
Một điểm nữa mà mình muốn nói là Form dáng của Chris Brown rất đẹp. CB cao, dáng người cân đối (Kể cả bây giờ cũng vậy) – nhưng không phải tự dưng mà có mà đó là sự luyện tập. Không phải là do đánh Riri (hic), CB là 1 dancer có số có má. Hic, nói phải đáng tội muốn mặc đồ đẹp nhất khi có thân hình đẹp quả quả không sai.

對我而言， 這三首翻唱的音樂都沒有過期， 當然還有更多陪伴我的音樂也是如此。原本的想法只是學習這些音樂人的創作想法，但接著慢慢的做了不少首。
第二首是翻唱我超級喜愛的日本創作者Hiroshi Sato，我特別喜歡Orient 和 Awakening 這兩張在70末80初，以合成器、鍵盤為主來製作的音樂，也特別有東西合璧的感覺。而Say Goodbye 對我來說是很有意義的一首歌，有許多深刻的記憶，而記憶是一道無法抹去的痕跡，它會永遠住在你心中，如果要再次說再見， 我一定會當面說Goodbye。

For me, many old songs I love are never out of date, even though they are not popular anymore. I think music from the 70s and 80s are so fascinating. There are many great artists and producers that I admire. To learn their thoughts and production, I decided to cover some songs. The second song, in this EP, I cover from Hiroshi Sato, in 1982’s "Awakening" Album - “Say Goodbye”. His music is mostly started from the synthesizer and the piano, combining western pop music and oriental style. In Awakening, he plays most of the instruments except guitar. This self producing ability inspired me so much, also like Mac Demarco and Prince. They are all my all-time favorite artists. "Say Goodbye" for me , it's a memorable song. I've heard of it before but I remembered my ex shared it with me. At the moment, I feel like we're very connected and I still think she is one of the people who has good taste in music. We didn't say goodbye in the end. I still regret that I didn't say goodbye face-to-face.

I did a cover of Tanimura Shinji 9th single "Niju-ni sai (Twenty-two years old)" that was released in 1984.
The Alice that was a fork song band is my origin of the sing with a guitar, especially, I was big affected by Tanimura-san about the way of the sing and the guitar playing style.
So this time, I pretend to be Tanimura-san, then I covered this song.😅
