New YouTube video is up! It’s one of the first Superset #oalworkout I did live on Cittabella fb page few months ago.
Full On Lower Body slimming & toning. Definitely give your legs a good muscle challenge and great burn. If you have not tried it before.
Those that have tried it, you can save this video down, and do it anytime. It’s a 28 mins total real time workout.
First 4 mins are the detail explanation of each exercises.
Beginner can just do the first 30 secs and rest (30 secs work 30 secs rest). Intermediate can continue additional 10 secs. So it will be 40 secs work and 20 secs rest for intermediate.
There are total of 5 sets of exercises. Complete one set of 3 rounds then move to the next set. Only set 5 is a stand alone 4 min exercise.
Set 1: Low surrender 20 secs, HOLD 10 secs, squat jumps 10 secs (3 rounds)
Set 2: Back Lunge R 20 secs, HOLD 10 secs, Back Lunge kick backs 10 secs;
Back Lunge L 20 secs, HOLD 10 secs, Back Lunge kick backs 10 secs (3 rounds)
Set 3: Side Lunge Left 20 secs, HOLD 10 secs, skaters 10 secs;
Side Lunge Right 20 secs, HOLD 10 secs, skaters 10 secs (3 rounds)
Set 4: Curtsy Lunge Left 20 secs, HOLD 10 secs, touch floor squat jumps 10 secs;
Curtsy Lunge Left 20 secs, HOLD 10 secs, touch floor squat jumps 10 secs (3 rounds)
Set 5:
1 min Hip Bridge, 1 min single leg (L leg up) hip bridge, 1 min single leg (R leg up) hip bridge, 1 min butterfly hip bridge (only 1 round)
Press through the holding part. For beginners can skip the last 10 secs of set 1-4, rest after HOLD.
Important:
Focus on right posture
Engage core & glutes all the way
Slow & steady. Don’t rush for the repetition

Arm strengthening & toning workout. Prepare you for PUSH UPs.
This is the detail explanation of each exercises and tips.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to do push up to start this workout. Girls, I took almost 3 years to be able to do 1 full push up. Lol. I’m a bit slow. Now most I have achieved was 25 times. But struggled like crazy.
Don’t rush in this workout, but make sure every rep you do in the right form, control and activate the right muscles.
We had learned how to engage core in the past 3 months, previous LIVE #oalworkout we learned about activating and engaging your BACK muscles - the scapula (shoulder blades). All these helps in doing Push Up. Thank you for the overwhelming responds of likes and saved on the previous back workout. Many people DM me and told me how it helped them and how they can feel and activate their back muscles now.
So....... Warm up your shoulders, wrists, elbows before this workout, and must stretch after finishing. If not, you might face some difficulties in lifting your arms to wash your hair the next day 😅
3 rounds. 40secs work 20 secs rest
1) Wall Push Ups
2) Wall Triceps Push UPS
3) Commando Plank on Knees
4) Negative Triceps Push UPS
(On 5 counts to reach the floor)
5) Side Push Up L
6) Side Push Up R
7) 1,2, Standard Push Up on Knees

Tomorrow #bellawithyou I will do a lower body GLUTES and LEGS only workout. If you have dumbbells, get ready, If you don’t have, not to worry. Or you could also, prepare two same size and volume water bottles. I’ll make your lower body burn tomorrow.

What an awesome way to start your Friday. Big shoutout to my buddy Emilio Legaria Sim for doing this with me. This is the first time we've combined a bit of strength and conditioning, then to finish it off with some insane boxing cardio. It was a killer! Give it a go in your own time and feel free to skip the chat at the end but if you did stay on thank you! haha
Also wishing all my Muslim friends Happy Ramadhan, if you happen to be doing this workout, I recommend to this just after you sahur ( reason being, get energy into your system first and you may help energize you before the day goes on) and or before you break your fast ( i personally say the first option is better cause you will feel drained and thirsty with this workout, but if lacking time, then do it about an hour before you buka puasa) :) Hope this helps.

My fitness routine is good for those who want to keep fit by doing FUN sports (rather than people trying to do intense workouts to lose weight in a short amount of time...which is not healthy anyway ^^) I think the first step to keeping fit is finding a sport you really enjoy playing. For me, I absolutely love running, swimming, karate and of course, badminton! I find that whenever you play a sport that you love, time flies and before you know it, you'll lose weight naturally and healthily.
Unlike doing specific workouts for your arms or thighs, sports can give you an overall workout which can tone your entire body as a whole! If you want to gain more muscle mass, sports is the way to go. Even if you don't want to want to have bulky muscles, you can just stretch before and after (like I did in this video) to lean out your muscles.
As for myself, I've done karate for a little over 9 years now and I got my black belt last year. The style of karate I do is a branch off of gōjū ryū (剛柔流) called meibukan (明武舘). I've also played badminton basically all my life but I only started playing competitively 4 years ago. I also started swimming competitively (this is not my forte sport but I do enjoy it ^^) 4 years ago as well. To date, I still cannot dive and I just look like a dying elephant cannon balling into the water. I've taken diving lessons before but the coach basically gave up on me. Something about diving just really scares me - I'm shuddering at the thought of diving right now haha. I've never been a competitive runner because I just lightly jog in an attempt to build up my low stamina. I started running long distances the beginning of this Summer. At the beginning of July, I was only able to run 4km max. However, I went running 3 - 4 times a week and now, I can run 6-8km.
Here is how my typical week looks like...
Monday:
Karate (1 hour) + Competitive Badminton Games (3 - 4 hours)
Tuesday:
Running (1 hour)
Wednesday:
Karate (1 hour) + Competitive Badminton Games (3 - 4 hours)
Thursday:
Running (1 hour) + used to do ballet (1 hour)
Friday:
Badminton coaching lessons (1 hour) + leisure badminton (2 hours)
Saturday and Sunday:
My recovery days. You can find me on the couch eating chips and salsa all day haha.
Aside from keeping yourself active, it's also very very important to have a good diet! I try to drink water as much as I can. Sometimes, when I'm not in the mood for water, I go for green tea (or any type of Chinese tea, the type without sugar / cream / milk). Make sure you have a balanced diet with protein and veggies and all that good stuff. I am not knowledgeable in this diet field at all so I would suggest you can find other Youtubers (or a professional) who can provide you with info on how to eat healthy :)
