Anyway, I only managed to catch two movies this week, #Thebodyguard and #eyeinthesky. Here's the reviews! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Bodyguard #特工爷爷 tells a simple story, the bad kidnaps the girl, the fighter saves her. Easy to understand, packed with fighting scenes and perhaps a touch of kinship. Yet, if you watch the show expecting loads of cool moves and swift attacks, you might just get a little disappointed. Well, age might be catching up for 洪金宝. There's fights, true, but honestly nothing that excites. Andy Lau saved the show with his good looks. Watch for their acting instead of purely action and you might just find it good. 3.5/5 ----------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I didnt dare expect too much from The Eye in the Sky. There was not much talk about the show but it turned out to be SO worth the watch. You should watch it. I thought that itd be just another warfare movie but I was so wrong. Its bigger than that, its about Humanity. The twists throughout the show keeps you at suspense. The strong silences absorbs you and the choices they make makes you think hard. How do you determine right and wrong? How do you determine who to kill? Expect to leave the cinema in thoughts.. This show is deep. 5/5
