清明養生重點:「健脾祛濕,疏肝解鬱」
淮山(又名山藥):補腎精、健脾胃、補肺氣
洋蔥:祛風發汗、行氣化痰
涼拌淮山紫洋蔥
材料:鮮淮山 1 段、紫洋蔥 1/4 個、紫菜絲適量、木魚花適量
調味醬汁:生抽 1 茶匙、醋 1 湯匙、黃糖 1/2 茶匙、玫瑰花瓣少許
做法:
1. 鮮淮山去皮後切粗條;紫洋蔥切絲;調味醬汁拌勻備用。
2. 燒滾一鍋水,加入鮮淮山灼 15 秒後撈起瀝乾,浸入冰水中一會後撈起瀝乾。紫洋蔥亦可浸在冰水中一會減少辛辣感。
3. 鮮淮山上碟,加上紫洋蔥絲,淋上調味醬汁,灑上紫菜絲及木魚花即成。
注意:處理新鮮山藥宜戴手套,因為山藥黏液會刺激皮膚引致痕癢。

Chinese yam: nourish kidney essence, strengthen the spleen and stomach, and nourish qi in the lungs
Onion: dispel wind, induce sweating, promote the circulation of qi, and get rid of phlegm
Chinese yam purple onion salad
Ingredients: 1 section fresh Chinese yam, 1/4 purple onion, some seaweed shreds and bonito flakes
Sauce: 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, some rose petals
Method:
1. Cut the peeled fresh Chinese yam into thick slices; shred the purple onion; mix the sauce for later use.
2. Boil a potful of water; add fresh Chinese yam into the pot for 15 seconds, take it out, and drain the excess water. Dip the purple onion in iced water to reduce the pungent sensation, if necessary.
3. Place the fresh Chinese yam on a plate, add purple onion shreds on top, drizzle it with the sauce, and top it with seaweed shreds and bonito flakes.
Note: It is best to put on a pair of gloves when processing the fresh Chinese Yam as its sticky sap could irritate the skin.

Honestly, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I guess you just want to lose body fat on your mid-section like spot reduction.
1. Reduce body fat %.
2. Calories deficit.
3. Track your macros.
4. Minimize alcohol intake.
5. Sleep early.
6. Train frequently.
7. Focus on building muscles even you don’t want too much muscles.
Don’t worry. If you don’t want it, it never suddenly happens.
8. Stop too long distance running.
9. Stress management.
10. Do Strength Training.
11. If you’re lean enough, practice vacuum like Frank Zane.
5️⃣ Again, can I drink wine on every weekend if my goal is body composition?
If you’re Fat, my answer is NO.
The problem is that if I say YES, You will drink A LOT every weekend, not only one glass of wine. And you will blame my training and nutrition plan don’t work at all.
Can alcohol help you to gain muscles? No.
Can alcohol help you to lose body fat? No.
How can I keep my manboobs? Keep drinking.
If you cannot stop thinking of drinking alcohol, you may need to see consultant to do stress management.

兩招減壓好入眠
近來睡得很少,又比平時更難入睡?睡臥不寧,多夢易醒,伴有煩躁易怒,胸脅脹滿,常常嘆氣等,屬於中醫不寐中的肝膽鬱熱型。最近社會氣氛緊張,意見分岐,大家都被負面新聞包圍,身心俱疲,但諷刺地晚上閉上雙眼也不能入眠。怎麼不是越困倦越能睡?肝膽鬱熱型的不寐是由惱怒傷肝,肝氣疏泄功能失調,氣鬱於體內日久而化火;或因為心情不好而喝多了酒、吃多了煎炸油膩重口味食物,溫熱聚於肝膽,蘊積化火。火熱上炎,擾亂神明,神明不能潛藏於心,心神不安,故睡臥不寧,多夢易醒。肝膽氣鬱所以煩躁易怒,胸脅脹滿,身體要透過唉聲嘆氣或放屁來疏導氣鬱。這時候如果被身邊人與事影響,睡前更應放下電話,稍微停止周邊資訊,讓自己身心休息一下。睡前拉拉筋舒展身體,另外解鬱更是調理重點,一杯疏肝理氣的茶療就最適合不過。
簡單睡前一招放鬆拉筋
瑜伽中有一個式子名為「嬰孩式」,大多數在瑜伽練習完畢前又或是較複雜的式子之中進行,以作放鬆身體和心情。式子如其名,像嬰孩在媽媽肚子裡的姿勢,有安心鬆弛的作用,可紓緩肌肉及情緒壓力,改善失眠,不妨在臨睡前在床上做5分鐘吧!
動作:跪在床上坐在腳跟上,臀部緊貼腳跟。上身扒下,雙手可輕放身旁或向前伸展,胸部緊靠大腿,慢慢呼吸。
洋甘菊桂花茶
材料:洋甘菊、桂花、適量蜂蜜(可自行選擇)
做法:將所有材料放入保溫瓶中,以熱水沖洗一次,加入熱水焗約5分鐘至有香氣,待茶變暖就可倒出加入蜂蜜即成。
功效:疏肝解鬱,紓緩精神壓力及鬱悶心情。

Before going to bed, do some stretches. Reducing stress is also important so have a cup of tea to soothe your liver.
A simple stretch to do before sleep
There is a posture in yoga called "Child’s pose", mostly done before the end of a yoga sessjon or in a more complicated posture to relax the body and mind. As the name suggests, like a child in the mother's belly, which can calm the mind, relax your muscles, relieve stress and improve insomnia.
So let’s do this 5 minutes before going to sleep!
Method: Kneel on the bed and sit on your heels, hips should touch your heels. Bend down your upper body forward with hands forward or along the side of your body. Your chest should be on top of your thighs.
Sweet osmanthus tea with chamomile
Ingredients: chamomile, sweet osmanthus, appropriate amounts of honey (You may decide how much to add)
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 5 minutes and add honey to taste when tea is warm.
Effects: relieves mental stress and depression

Ok I know it took me 1000000 years to finally upload this but life has been really crazy for the past month ?
Some notes: I do this on dry hair! Not damp or wet. Also, you can tie a scarf around your head if you're scared it'll move while you're sleeping but I would only recommend this if absolutely necessary; it does reduce volume and I like big waves ?
How are you all holding up? I think I'd be fine if I could go to the gym but staying inside my apartment all day is making me feel really sluggish ? I hope you're all staying safe and healthy though!
Recently, I've been baking to relieve stress but it's actually becoming a problem ? my fridge is full of waffles, mochi, banana bread, and probably apple cobbler by tomorrow if I'm feeling sad enough lol...and I can't even give any of these to my friends anymore bc nobody's leaving the house!! I really am gonna be rolling out of quarantine huh ?

This time, Doctor Foo is my doctor, and as expected every doctor in Premier Clinic is good looking. Lol. After the consultation by Doctor Foo, I was being prepared for the procedure. First numbing cream is applied to the area where the treatment will take place, in my case the lower part of the face. The procedure will take around 60 mins (inclusive of 20 minutes waiting for the numbing creams to work) Doctor Foo used the Candula Method where A blunt tip microcannula is used instead of a needle to deliver the dermal filler into the skin. 2 holes are made on each side of my cheeks and then the insertion of the tip of the microcannula is done via these holes. The microcannula is more maneuverable due to its flexibility and this method will not only be less painful but also less stress. The Cannula Method reduce bruising, swelling, and vascular complications using a blunt tip cannula when injecting dermal fillers. There are also less injection sites, thus making this procedure a fairly quick one. It was painless [only the first 2 pokes were uncomfortable] that I even did a ‘Live’ session on my Facebook .There was also no downtime!
