Plastic bags, fishing nets and fishing lines.
These are some of the items found inside the stomach of a whale carcass washed ashore in Italy. The pregnant whale had ingested 22kg of plastic.
Tragically, this is the fourth incident in a short space of time in which a whale has washed ashore with excessive amounts of plastic in its stomach.
