◤Taiwan needs an Indo-Pacific policy involving the Pacific Islands◢
Taiwan needs to explicitly place its New Southbound Policy within the broader context of its Indo-Pacific policy. By extension, Taiwan needs to review, reevaluate and revamp its strategy for engagement with the Pacific Island countries.

身在台灣的你，或許很難感受到疫情給世界帶來的影響。
但外交部同仁大部分身在國外，他們在相對困難的環境，宣傳台灣防疫的成功，希望大家支持我們的訴求。
從爆發至今，除了難以回國，他們必須配合駐在國的防疫政策，還要更加小心自身安全，沒有人想要生病，大家都想要健健康康。
為因應近期印度疫情的變化，外交部吳部長已經成立緊急應變小組，持續關注並因應的疫情發展。我們已協助重症同仁返台就醫，並安排非核心業務的同事及家屬返國。
為持續服務國人、對印度關係的推展，代表處將暫不考慮關閉，並確保核心業務繼續運作，也將會持續印度人民提供必要的救援物資。
我們感謝所有在前線的奮鬥的同事們。
For many of us, it's difficult to imagine the toll of the #COVID19 pandemic on our friends in #India and we hope you'll show your support for the people of the country as well as the staff of our representative office there.
To ensure consular services can still be provided and continued cooperation with our #NewSouthboundPolicy partner, our office in the country will continue to operate, while we will bring those colleagues suffering from serious illness back to Taiwan for treatment and repatriate non-essential staff. An emergency response unit has also been set up to deal with the changes in the pandemic in the country.
Thanks to all those fighters on the front-lines of this crisis!
