My piece, "Doge to the Moon", is now live for auction on Binance: https://www.binance.com/en/nft/goods/detail?productId=202141&isProduct=1
Here is a video of how my team and I made the piece! This is my first artwork based on a series called "Memebank", which will involve spoofing and redesigning banknotes from different countries. First of 6 in the series is "Doge to the Moon" based off the Chinese Yuan. My banknotes are printed through an etched copper plate, allowing me to print as many banknotes as I want to but like an NFT, there will only ever be one master plate. The owner of the NFT will also own the copper plate!

How Japanese Artist Miyavi’s Amazon Music Series Fuses Global Creativity With Technology
Now Miyavi is redefining virtual performances that have grown mainstream during the coronavirus pandemic. His most recent collaboration with Amazon Music AMZN last week resulted in a free, exclusive performance, “Miyavi Virtual Level 5.0: Synthesis,” on the Amazon Music app. Originally premiered last year on Amazon Music’s Twitch, the archived performance was re-released as a series of eight video clips, or songs, available to stream on Amazon Music as either singular performances or a playlist similar to a live, visual album.
“My job as a musician is to rock, but it’s the platform’s responsibility to make the audience feel my energy through the delivery of the performance,” Miyavi adds.
“I want to be at the forefront of that, continuing to aim higher to deliver my performances in new ways that no one has ever done before.”
“Climate change, refugee issues, hunger, poverty, inequality and pandemic … how can we deal with the global problems we face, how can we commit to the future of the planet through music and art? There may be a limit to what we can do, but we may find a new way of life by fusing with technology,” Miyavi says.
The technical production lead for Miyavi’s Amazon show is David Cihelna, co-founder of Pyramid Three R&D studio and production company with artist and filmmaker Dyan Jong (director and renowned gif artist for Billie Eilish, Miyavi and Kali Uchis among others).
“Artists are pushing themselves to figure out new boundaries for technology. It opens so many doors to how performers can interact with fans and how audiences can feel closer to an artist,” Cihelna says. “We’re just seeing the beginning of these types of experiences.”

Future Shock is participating in the Chroniques 2020 this month, in the program "WHAT DO WE WANT TO GROW ON THE RUINS?"
A paradox of present times, the extension of human life and the image of the end of the world coexist and oppose each other in our imaginations of possible futures. These are almost two societal choices that clash and trace a front line in our political and social horizons. After years of trying to modernize the Earth, we are now facing a social crisis that may be the most important in all our history: the image of a collapse due to the disappearance of our ecosystem. So, a question arises: how are we going to build the afterwards?
Far from new, the image of the end of the world has often inspired artists and aesthetic movements throughout history. At La Friche, the exhibition, designed as a fictional laboratory, presents artists who enlighten us on the current issues of change, on our history, our past choices which ultimately carry within them a need to reform of human reasoning. An international exhibition with Taiwan as guest of honor, it brings together a group of mostly European artists alongside Taiwanese artists, who grew up with the same utopias, notably that of progress supporting Nature. These myths are now fading and we must understand the changes necessary in our relationship with the Earth and with living things. Some reflect on or depict the ways in which we can use technosciences for environmental regulation, others show the possibilities for the evolution of humans and our bodies with the help of technology. How are we going to coexist between the living and non-living? How will we be able to live with and adapt to these changes?
A reflection on this collapse, the exhibition questions new possibilities of life in the interstice of the ruins. Now that the future is a lost paradise, what new future are we going to invent?
Within the framework of the cooperation project Future Divercities, co-financed by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.

Video Title: How Hong Kong Became a Giant Refrigerator
"Here’s a statement: over the last 50 years, Hong Kong has become a giant refrigerator. Despite its hot, humid, subtropical climate, the city remains an icicle all year round. But what do I mean by this? Well, Hong Kong has a bizarre problem. It has developed an obsession with air-conditioners so extreme it no longer makes any sense—winter coats are needed during the sweltering summer, and ACs are blasted in the midst of winter. There are many countries around the world that use and abuse their air conditioners—Singapore, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the US, to name a few—but Hong Kong (the city I grew up in), takes all this to a whole new level. So this raises questions—why are there so many ACs? Why is the temperature set so low? And—strangest of all—why can‘t they just turn it off? With Hong Kong, the answer is never simple..."

Hello everyone, I am Yap Hui Phong from Malaysia.
In 2020, I filmed a video by studying abroad in New Zealand.
In order to complete these works, I recorded the most primitive and pure nature of New Zealand.
It took me 10 months to realize a self-driving trip across the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The total mileage exceeds 32,000 kilometers.
From Mount Taranaki on the North Island to Mount Cook, the highest peak of the Southern Alps.
From the vast Canterbury Plain on the east coast to the lush and glacier rainforest on the west coast.
I carried 30 kilograms of equipment to the top of the mountains to wait for the sunrise.
Staying at the same place for a few days, just to wait for the moment when the sunset and the lonely bird fly together.
I am obsessed with the magnificent Pacific Ocean. And also marvel at the view of stars under the world's largest International Dark Sky Reserve.
I used to have tears in my eyes under the hot temperature of 38℃, and also shivered in the freezing wind of -12℃.
I can go over the mountain and across the sea, just because I love and enjoying in filming.
I am fearless, just because of the unyielding obsession.
Forgot how many nights there were. I was waiting in front of the tripod to write the entire galaxy into the camera bit by bit.
I keep buying hard drives to store the files. I have took more than 200,000 photos and post-production more than 1,000 hours.
Finally reduced to this 12TB material.
I also forgot how many nights there were. I seat in front of my computer adjusting every details of the photo again and again. And often unconsciously find that the sky outside the window is slightly bright.
In order to be able to capture the Lupins which represent the spring of New Zealand, and also to film the complete four seasons of New Zealand.
I applied for an extension of my visa once again to stay in New Zealand. And waiting by the Lake Tekapo for half a month, just to capture the moment when the Lupins bloom.
In order to capture the beauty of Glowworm, I went deep into the cave in the isolated mountain. My feet were soaked in the stream for three days before I took the picture I wanted.
Fortunately, the film also successfully won the first place in the 8KRAW photography contest.
In the competitions held by the best teams in the world, I was lucky to have won the coveted award.
I also want to thank Director Wen-yuan, Lu of HD.CLUB CO., LTD for supporting my plan.
With the support of HD.CLUB CO., LTD, my equipment and technology have been greatly upgraded to produce high-standard works.
This also makes me more determined to pursue what I love and continue to work hard on my dreams and creations.
